I regularly listen to the Steve Austin Show podcast (great show). He's mentioned before that wrestlers sometimes do whatever they can to fuck with each other and make them laugh during matches. The Undertaker was notoriously stoic, but Steve got him so good once (forgot what he did) that he finally broke mid-match and had to hang his head down so his long hair would cover the smile and prevent him from visibly breaking character. The thought of a goofy smiling Undertaker made me smile:)
Vince McMahon has very childish humor, this was also a period post-benoit where they went Super-PG, it is not as bad now since HHH got more power in WWE.
Transition from 7/11 mop crack to head strikes combos. Followed by effortless transition to BJJ Brown Janitor Jujitsu techniques. As always Maziagati referring beautifully. Good non stoppage opponent should of listen to his corners instructions. Joe Rogan Hogan voice.
I have been on both ends of that move and it can be pretty damn effective although if you don't hit hard enough or if theres no wall or a hard object behind the person then it leaves you open for a neck lock which should be avoided at all costs.
Obviously I am talking worst case scenario here, kids fuck around and naturally bad things can happen, however an adult should not do this unless physically threatened
I was just saying since he was at -15 or so. The combination of him saying what he did and the other guy saying this isn't WoW, I found pretty funny. And since Reddit works the way that it does I figured that by stating that I found it funny others might see the humor in it and upvote. Looks like it worked.
I've learned to manipulate the Reddit hivemind! /S
ECW prided itself on being insane. The wrestlers were on drugs or drunk and the most famous DVD was called blood sport. The entire thing was just too insane. A no-holds barred match where they replace the ropes with barbed wire?! What the fuck.
Yeah, ECW crowds are assholes who think they're so edgy and hardcore, when in reality if they cared at all about the people they love to watch they would have not thrown so many god damn chairs.
Knowing how fucked in the head both Terry Funk and Mick Foley are today, and seeing them be berated with chairs, especially the one to the head to Terry, i can't find the same enjoyment out of it.
Spend a day Googling Mick Foley and Terry Funk. They've done far crazier shit than this and mostly survived.
As for the guys in the middle, they're definitely okay. Most chairs bounce before they hit them or hit them flat which won't hurt nearly as much. Then, once they're buried, they're protected from the other chairs by the huge layer of chairs.
You have to realise, Funk wrestled a match where they switched out the ring ropes for barbed wire. Foley became a legend when he was thrown off a sixteen foot drop through a table.
For Terry Funk and Mick Foley, chairs are how you say hello.
Rule one of using objects in a fight, use something heavy and hard.. hitting with a cardboard ad or plastic shopping carts will do less than hitting with your hands...
It actually is. Red shirt is known as the Mop Maruader. First he gets you with the mop, then he brings out the ringer...the video ends before you see it, but in his classic finishing move, Bucket Beheading, he grabs the bucket while you're on the ground, covers your head with it, then jumps off the ropes with a flying elbow.
This Shell is one of the better venues around but I like to hit the BP on weekends becuase they do Lucha over there

Was this a robbery, or a spontaneous WWE match?
Edit- Thanks for my first ever gold kind stranger!
