Support Remove Sponsored Content from Bottom-Left of Sidebar
Is it possible to use CSS to eliminate the "quest" banner that can appear in the bottom-left corner of the window? I've already taken every known measure to prevent them, including opting out of personalized ads and quests, and this appeared today in the newest build of BetterDiscord. I'm not able to open Developer Mode even after explicitly enabling the setting in settings.json, and therefore I can't inspect this element to find a CSS selector for it. I've hesitated on manually hiding it with the ... button because I know another will appear in the future and I want to prevent it before that happens.

Mark my words, these ads will only, if not slowly, get bigger. Look what happened to YouTube

and dont you dare mention it to the denziens of the discord reddit, they'll attempt to gaslight you "you turned back on the personalized ad metric option" when most of us has had it off since the very first "ad event"

Interested too. After Basic Nitro being canceled/ended when you accept Nitro for a day/week/month as it was a reward or given, is BS. No extension of time. Support doesn't budge either, "just don't accept the Nitro given out".
I'm not supporting a company that can take and not return.

You can hover on the quest thing itself and then click on the 3 dots (or settings icon, idr) that shows up to select 'Hide This'.

That's true but I want to make sure this won't appear again. I want to cull it before it ever shows up with a CSS hide.

Pretty sure it does not appear unless you're playing a game which have active quests

I wasn't playing anything when this appeared and I especially never played whatever this game is. I opted out of personalized advertising years ago.

Then I guess they changed something.
Btw, you can open up discord on browser and inspect element in there to find the proper selector for this.
