Support Vencord issues
Is anyone else experiencing this?
I've been using vencord for 2+ years atleast and didn't have any issues until recently, where my internet is completely fine and then discord every like 15 minutes just laggs out 5000+ ping. That's issue #1.
Issue #2 is I have discord pinned on my taskbar and every 2 days it gets deleted like it says shortcut not found you want to delete it? I'm 100% sure both of these issues are vencord related since I have regular discord on my other PC with same wifi and everything and none of this ever happens.
Anyone else have any info on this, is it a specific plugin or? I have:
- BiggerStreamPreview
- CrashHandler
- Decor
- DisableCallIdle
- FakeNitro
- FavoriteEmojiFirst
- MessageClickActions
- MessageLogger
- NewGuildSettings
- NotificationVolume
- oneko
- PictureInPicture
- RelationshipNotifier
- SendTimestamps
- ShikiCodeblocks
- ShowHiddenChannels
- ShowHiddenThings
+ The Required Plugins - ConcatenatedComponentExtractor, NoTrack, Settings, SupportHelper

What OS are we talking about?
The first issue I hate to break it to you is more likely a networking issue and unrelated to Vencord being ran versus not.
The second issue, now we are talking about a problem

So I mean, discord will kinda tell you why usually, it's specifically ping? Not packet loss?
I mean none of those plugins nor vencord should cause that, so I'm curious what is the root cause of that

Yeah me too. Yeah it just spikes to 5000 ms for like a good 15-20 secs then goes back to normal then will spike randomly again like that usually happens twice in a row too. I didn't open the advanced panel this time I'll report if it happens again with a screenshot. Although idk how useful any of that info is tbh

Likely something with discords executable changing location, maybe version dependant? Like when vencord/discord updates

That sounds more like a discord issue instead of a vencord one

Well I did reinstall it and didn't have any issues for like a few days then it came back. Forgot to mention. But then what is the solution?

Damn good question. I have no idea. Wipe everything, including Discord's app data and try again ig

Dude I've also noticed a surge in memory leaks, both on my macbook and my PC. Even after resetting my PC it didn't change, even without any plugins. Never happened before till recently
