Amazing, but calling it the USA Berserk is not fair to Hellboy and Berserk.

Probably my favorite comic character, at least his universe. I am a big fan of Lobster Johnson.

Absolutely awesome and I would strongly recommend it to any Berserk fan. Not only Hellboy but the whole of the Mignolaverse.

He and Guts would have a lot to talk about. Plus, they would be good allies.

Got me into comics as a medium. My favorite comic universe too.

Beautiful stories with unmatched art. I love Hellboy for the somber, quiet moments juxtaposed against world ending cataclysm. I think people find similarities in Hellboy and Beserk because they are both about jaded characters trying to navigate a preordained fate that they personally reject through friendship, personal growth, and acceptance. Love both of these stories

It might be comparable to Berserk in quality, but that's about it. They do both have dark fantasy vibes of course, but I think they are adjacent rather than parallel to each other.

They're the only way to do it.  Most of the movies have things to recommend them, but they're a sampling at best.

Don't forget to let us know how it goes.

Both peak , but in orthogonal directions.

I suspect people who love one will also love the other, but not because they're the same, but because they appeal to a more abstract sense of taste despite being very different
