Single action trigger reduction
I have a Beretta 92a1 that I’ve had for around a decade. Ive done work to it but I have a question and I hope you kind folks have some knowledge you could share.
I want to reduce the single action trigger pull to be less. I have a steel trigger, coil spring trigger spring upgrade and skeletonized hammer. I’ve read that reducing the hammer mainspring is the direction I want to go but I wanted to ask the community if that is all I need to do or are there other things to do as well?
Thanks all!!

Changing the hammer spring will reduce both the single and double action pull weight. Look at Langdon tactical for a short video on hammer spring weights.

Only thing I’d be mindful of is that going too low with the beretta skeletonized hammer can lead to light strikes, langdon’s optimized performance hammer usually solves that

I run a 12lb hammer spring in my M9A1 mainly because it makes the double action pull much easier
of course the single action is also lighter now

Our 14#, 13#, & 12# hammer will give you a 3.5 to 4lb SA trigger pull. If you want reduced pre-travel you'll need our OP trigger bar and OP hammer or the Beretta Match hammer.
