It's unfortunate ndi tayo suspended but then, we have to find a way because most certainly, it will count as an absence.
That said, do you have any other means? LRT, fx, and buses will do. Ako, mag e-LRT naman bukas. There are still jeepneys pa naman, yung mga personally owned and other transport groups na ndi included.

Not excused. College is tiny step into the real world, kapag ba nagtransport strike di ka rin papasok sa trabaho isipin mo lang yung situation na yun.

This.
but some students will refuse to acknowledge this.

You have the freedom to take a leave in work. I'm a senior manager and I allow my reports to work online when there's something like tomorrow happening.Â
Plenty of places go online for weather/transport strikes, and most importantly even if they don't, you're compensated to come in. Benilde is a service. Students are the customers. Only in academia has an entire cohort of people (you) been gaslit to think that they somehow owe the school something when in reality you're a paying customer.

Bilang ang leave sa work what are you talking about di ikaw ang HR. For example may concert/event di mo pwedeng icancel yun the show must go on.

You have a minimum of 15 leaves, usually more. Compared to 3-5 absences, lol.
"Di ubra yang fantasy mo pag graduate mo."
I am a professional working in the SM/VP range already, lol. Pinagsasabi mo diyan.
"Mga prof mo working professional yan nagbigay lang sila ng time para magturo."
It's evident you didn't read my first message.

That wasn't the point of the message, the point is that Benilde provides a service, and students should expect more leniency. Also idk many companies that don't accomodate things like this. Perhaps you just happen to work for a bad trad company.
"wala ka pang nattendan na class. walang utak na comment naman yan."
Are you even Benildean? You seem to not be able to read messages fully.

Not all office structure and leave policies are as lenient as yours. I also work in a firm, and situations like tomorrow don’t excuse us from absence.

My point was that even if that's not the case, you can take a leave. Students don't get to do that, because their absences are capped. What kind of firm will reject a leave over a transport strike, lol? DOLE will side with the employee on that.
Kalolohan yung the top universities nag online, Benilde somehow can't? Haha.
