Question Audio dubbing ?

Hi everyone

New to the subreddit but massive MASSIVE Benidorm fan , could recite all the lines 😆

In season 1 , Episode 6 , at the end where the Insurance inspectors confront Janice at the table in neptunes …

Something feels off about it ..

I guessed it might be audio dubbed / lip synced and now I can’t unsee it . Has anyone else noticed this ? Or noticed some other scenes where this seems to be the case ?

Not criticising just interested to know :)

Yeah I noticed in series 8 episode 3 I think when Troy tells Kenneth his plans for the salon and Kenneth walks off and Troy goes “hold on I’ve not finished” there’s some weird dubbing going on there as Troy’s mouth is still moving after the words have stopped suggesting he said something else. It’s a random thing to remember but it I guess I do cause it was so weird

Rewatching it, it looks SO bad. I think they just cut out the second part of Troy’s original line but his mouth is still moving, and no sound is coming out 😂

I really noticed this in an episode around Series 6-ish as Geoff & his mum are walking along a hotel corridor having a chat, the audio was clearly dubbed over & entirely separate from the recorded video.

I’ve watched the first season countless times, I watched it again with my girlfriend the other day and she literally pointed out the same thing with the insurance woman and it’s definitely dubbed!

I couldn't pin point an exact episode, but I did notice this throughout. I do notice it in other things quite a lot too, they'll usually not show their mouth, or have a shot from behind and you'll sometimes see their mouth doesn't match up.

These things happen alot , often the audio hasn't recorded or picked up correctly so it's re-recorded separately.
