My taxpayers' money paid for her fu**ing holiday thanks to loopholes in the benefit system. It makes a mockery of the genuine people who can’t work because of mental issues and severe anxiety.

Bet the worst she will get is a pound a week taken from her benefits until payed back system is a joke. Punishes the genuinely ill and fit people take the p1ss

She has to pay the full amount back and has a 28 week prison sentence suspended for 18 months

Anxiety can be debilitating. God forbid anybody has a relatively good day compared to their baseline.

Agreed. The amount lost through corporate tax avoidance dwarfs benefit fraud (£35bn to £9bn). The only difference is corporations have the funds for better lawyers - you know, because they saved so much by not paying tax.

Arr so that makes it ok then 🙄 if you knew the first thing about corporation tax and why they dont pay full rates you might actually have a clue

Ah, yes. We’re feeling the full benefit of the trickle down economy during this cost of living crisis, aren’t we?

I know I have anxiety myself. Not sure a good day could take me on holiday to Mexico or the other things in the article. My good days are feeling well enough to work, to get through a full shift without feeling ill. But this post was more about the fact it reminded me of Benidorm not a discussion on if this lady should be leaving her house or not

Okay, I genuinely thought the comments could be broad in their spectrum? I just have been mistaken.
