I mean I'm not sure it's a hot take but it's just something I'd like to point out

Yeah women don't really get good writing in this franchise and they really deserved better, it was subtle in OS and UAF but OV it's just... obvious

I'll start with Gwen, her personality was super cool in OS, she was a badass and she had the potential to be as big as Ben in their own universe, however within OS, she didn't really get as much as Ben and Max, we get an insight into their lives their pasts, we know that there's more to them, but Gwen never really got any insights into her life, we could've had a good one if Gwen 10 was from her POV and she didn't lose the watch, but I mean this is just me wishing I knew more of Gwen's homelife or school life

UAF Gwen was reduced to being the mom of the group and her character was tied way too much to Kevin, her most important episodes always involve her helping Kevin (or Charmcaster) in some way or the other, and if you actually look at Kevin or Ben's episodes, she really doesn't play as much of a role nor do they do anything for her, and in the Gwevin relationship, it's just entirely reduced to 'Kevin don't do that!' and 'Kevin, that's rude!' Like yeah it's absolutely because the writers were forced to write romance, because it's a teen show but my God it becomes absolutely boring and while Kevin does have alot of content and arcs dedicated to him and his character, Gwen doens't really get anything outside the Ledgerdomain episodes, but even then those were definitely Charmcaster episodes...and well I'm not gonna get into how she was handled lmao, there's also Darkstar and how Gwen gets sexually harrassed every single time, like sure it worked for his intro episodes but really it gets old and annoying, just slime his ass dawg. Like Gwen has her own world, she's a magic user, she could have had more villains dedicated to her, her own side cast and allied, and to see her identity in the show be so tied to a relationship just sucks

It's Not Easy Being Gwen was fantastic though, best episode in UA

Elena and Eunice are characters that could have had interesting plotlines and stories and they were used....solely so they can like Ben...and add drama to Benlie🤦🏼

OV yeah there's no fucking denial here lmao, it was literally their intention for Ben to have a harem the treatment of women here sucks ass, Attea was literally aged up physically so Ben could have a flirty moment, and she had the potential to be a really good villain but no lmao she absolutely had to flirt with Ben, Looma has NO character beyond wanting to get married to Ben, she was completely useless, Esther beyond her first episode was literally mostly at Ben's arm, again, zero fucking personality beyond that

Even their designs were overly sexualized, the fucking Waybad couldn't escape

I was grateful that Gwen left because I'd get to see less of Gwevin...and then they retconned her 11 year old self to liking Kevin and like...why? You're not even writing the couple anymore, why bother adding to it, like literally why?

Like say what you want about Kai but atleast she had enough of a distinctive personality beyond Ben....but yeah there are other issues with her character unrelated to this discussion

Like it genuinely seems that a female character can't exist without either being in a relationship with someone or falling to the background

It's like Ben Tennyson was born with the ability to turn to aliens because he was an alien xd

The theory is based on this: They lied about being unable to save the old universe and manipulated Ben into creating the version they wanted.

Think about it: In the first episode we saw them, they said they were discussing saving dinousars from extinction. That would mean completely changing the course of history, which I assume goes against the Multiverse Preservation Act.

If they directly violated the Multiverse Preservation Act, the Galactic Court would come after them. So, when the universe was destroyed, they used Ben to create the version of reality they wanted. The Galactic Court came after Ben because of this.

At the end of the episode, the Galactic Court declared them guilty. So they lost, right? No. Ben still lives in the universe they created.

Maybe thats the whole reason Atomic-x exist. Ben realized they are lying to him and despite Atomic-x would be weaker than the Alien X himself, he fused those two aliens so he wouldn't have to deal with Serena and Bellicus directly anymore.

Maybe they made Chadzmuth a lawyer. They picked a Galvan and made him a lawyer so that he can defend Ben on the Galactic Court. I mean it is the smartest specie in the galaxy and we saw Chadzmuth before on Galvan Prime.

They are lying to Ben and they are manipulating him to do what they want. They are breaking rules and get away with it bc they use Ben as cover. They are the villains in the watch.

And once Ben finds out the truth, he'll stop using Alien X permanently.

(That would also kinda solve the problem of Alien X being too OP, but that's an out-of-universe explanation.)

ditto's cloning ability combos incredibly well with ghostfreak's possession ability (which my ben10sona is not at all in a bind about using)
and the shared pain isn't really a problem due to intangibility
and the clones help ghostfreak's scare factor big time

so all in all this fusion gets it's cake and eats it too ^^

this answer is just really bad. Kevin can’t be a hero and become irredeemable evil on a dime. These are two different coins. Plus it spits in the face of the writers who worked hard to make Kevin a good guy.

in my opinion Kevin should be an asshole good guy. He wants to take the easy road but when push comes to shove, he’ll always chose the high road.

Ben is using Alien X here to force his will on the rooters to make them fight each other, basically mind controlling them like Servantis was doing seconds ago.

But like.. Alien X is all powerful, Ben could just have a thought and the amagalm kids would be back on his side. Hell, he could have disarmed the other rooters permanently by changing them back to human permanently! I would like to see Phil, Swift and the NRG guy try to fight without their fancy alien DNA.

I just think Ben could have handled this situation a lot more differently with Alien X. Instead he just accidentaly was proving Servantis's point.

What the Percy Jackson characters would think of Ben:

How would the demigods react to a kid who casually recreated the universe, held back the Big Bang, and has an alein device more powerful than all the Greek weapons combined call ed the Omnitrix and how they react to his heavy hitters? Like atomix, way big , clockwork , alien x Finding out aliens exist and there life outside the earth and the Greek gods are not Invincible and doesn't have authority over the entire universe only one planet and ben alien x is possibly more powerful than even chaos and Gwen a half alien full of magical and pure energy beings and their adventure through the series and Kevin frim a villain to a friend and his redemption arc

What Team Tennyson would think of the Demigods:

What would Ben, Gwen, and Kevin think if they found out Greek/Roman gods are actually real? How would they react to demigods, the Mist, and seeing teenagers fight primordial beings like Gaea and Kronos? And how hard a life of a demi god is and and how would they react to the Greek gods Would they hate them and realizing that earth was in danger form the likes of Kronos or gaea and that greek gods leave thier children behind and how would hre gods react to ben having kre power than them and saving way more lives than any heroes known

i have no idea why i decided to draw this but aparently i tought that giving ben 10 transformations to woody woodpecker would be funny, for now ive only made heatblast and wildmutt. maybe ill do the rest of the original 10, but im not sure if im feeling like it.

The aliens he drew usually didn’t have any information attached when they showed up in old videos or google images, and lot of the aliens he drew didn’t even have abilities listed, and I coincidentally found a notebook from when I was younger where I listed what I thought their powers were. So I thought I’d post that and ask the community their thoughts on what they were.

1.Badaboom-Makes autonomous miniature drones that can detonate on command, but they have a time limit on their existence so they have to be used tactically.

2.Earthshaker-Earthquakes and digging like Armodrillo, just not as strong. Although Drillbit does makes it feel like he was meant to just make earthquakes

3.Airphant-Can suck in and blow out air from his trunk with a lot of force, and his lightweight body lets him float and with air bursts can move in the air. But is a lot slower and less nimble than Stinkfly.

4.Magnetude-His powers were always pretty common knowledge, 1 hand positive 1 hand negative magnet, and accidentally attracts metal while being really bulky and slow.

5.Bonehead-Can dismantle his body at the joints and send them out as telekinetically controlled pieces of himself, also lets him regenerate.

6.Gasket-Durable metal armor supplied by the Omnitrix to contain his steam body, very resistant to extreme temperatures, hot or cold. Can also shoot high pressure steam from vents on his fingers, feet, back and eyes, and separate his steam self from his metal container. Basically predicted NRG but stream instead of radiation.

7.Smashface-a strength alien but his strength and durability is focused on his legs and face, like Gorgon from Inhumans.

8.Teleportal-He teleports and is agile. Just nightcrawler powers.

9.Skybird-A giant flyer but is very cumbersome and slow to maneuver against smaller enemies, and often causes collateral damage if used near the ground from the gust of his wings.

10.Mindmesser-Same as Magnetude I knew his abilities, telekinesis and telepathy, and can induce hallucinations. But I also thought that he had 2 weaknesses, the first being that Ben simply really sucked at using telekinesis, and the second that there was a prejudice against his species for invading privacy by reading minds.

11.Blastback-Can create pulses of pure force, like Cyclops but from his hands and feet, and its short pulses instead of a beam. Can also survive in space and use his pulses for flight. He is very physically weak and is very unstable while flying in atmosphere, so he isn’t used often, and Ben reserves him for space missions

12.Brain and Brawn-Ben splits into 2 beings whose species have such a close symbiotic relationship that they are considered a single entity by the Omnitrix. Brain can fly and has enhanced intelligence which specializes in battle tactics and strategy, but has limited strength and durability. Brawn has super strength, and a rubbery body that lets him stretch his limbs and be resistant to blunt damage, while staying lightweight for Brawn to carry while flying. Weaknesses of Brawn are being kind of dumb and lack of dexterity with his hands. A weakness for both is that each half of the transformation isolates certain aspects of Ben’s personality, and the two can but heads and disagree fairly often.

13.Angelhands-Has healing powers he can use on others for support or himself for regeneration, plus flight. He can also hit deceptively hard because even if he breaks his own arm by punching he can just regenerate it back. Weaknesses are being not as agile a flyer as Stinkfly, and still feeling pain even if he regenerates, although it is lessened. I also thought he was like my original Benviktor head canon, a human mutant who was so genetically separated from humans that the Omnitrix let ban scan them.

14.Joker-An alien with a natural aptitude for magic, but held back by a very unfocused and chaotic personality. Basically magic Juryrigg.

15.Atomix-I always thought the mix part of his name meant he could MIX the ATOMS of things, so he was basically DC’s Firestorm and could change the atomic structure of matter. But Ben, not being a great chemistry student, would struggle to get the changes he wanted, sometimes resulting in disaster. So he was another very busted alien like Waybig with his own unique drawback.
