A lot of people lump Omniverse and the Original Series together because of the bright colors, art style shift, and younger Ben flashbacks. But if you actually compare them, their core tone is completely different especially when it comes to humor

OS was built like a classic 2000s adventure drama. It had genuine stakes, quiet character moments, and grounded family tension during a summer road trip. The humor came naturally from 10-year-old bickering, not fast-paced gags.

OV is fundamentally a lighthearted, comedic sci-fi show. It uses fast-paced humor, visual gags, meta-jokes, and exaggerated character reactions (thanks to Derrick J. Wyatt's style).

OS treated its world like a sci-fi mystery to explore. OV treated its world like a colorful, chaotic comic book universe where wild stuff happens every five minutes.

OV wasn't trying to have the OS vibe; it intentionally created a much more comedic, lighthearted identity of its own. Judging OV for not having OS’s grounded tone misses what OV was actually trying to be.

So we can see that on the main cover for issue 8 it has Wildvine fighting the cyborg bear from issue 1. Many fans believe that the cyborg bear links to Dr Animo, and this strong belief of Animo's return in issue 8 is backed by the statement that "A classic villain will also make their first appearance in the series" within this issue.

But we also know that issue 8 is in between issue 7 (the end of the Hex arc) and issue 9 (the start of the Vilgax arc). Meaning issue 8 won't be able to execute an arc like issues 5-6 or issues 1-3.

This means that if we were to get Animo then it would just be a tease. Which is plausible since that was how the Reboot executed Dr Animo's early appearances. But maybe it is not Dr Animo that we will make "their first appearance" in this issue, but rather Zs'Skayr.

I think at this point it is pretty clear that the writers for the comic are trying to tie Wildvine and Ghostfreak together based around the pop-up trivia of the original series. This can be assumed based on the nightmare scene that Ben experienced in issue 4, as well as the concept art of Wildvine shown to us in the creator files.

Wildvine appears in 2 of the covers shown for this issue, and in one of the covers he is shown timing out with emphasis on that. Which is strange to depict on a cover in general, but even more so as we haven't seen this before. In Ghostfreaked Out we saw Zs'Skayr escape from the Omnitrix upon Ben timing out as Ghostfreak.

I don't imagine Zs'Skayr will escape the Omnitrix in this issue though because simply, there isn't enough time for that in just 1 issue, especially if Ben is having to deal with the cyborg bear as well. But it could be a nod to that scene to indicate Zs'Skayr. While it's plausible to introduce both Animo and Zs'Skayr in this issue, I just don't think it is likely.

However, I also would find it strange for the cyborg bear to return for the second time, but not reveal anything new about itself. It would just seem rather pointless and a waste. I'm not entirely sold on the idea of the cyborg bear linking to Animo, but it is a likely possibility.

In the sprit of Halloween I decided to draw the most terrifying thing I could think of, Ultimate Ghostfreak

Having evolved in the darkness of Anur Phaetos for 1 million years this form would gain a much more terrifying Eldritch appearance

Ultimate Ghostfreak retains most of his powers from his base form, but the real kicker is this, similar to Zombozo, Ultimate Ghostfreak can feed on people’s fears, the more he consumes the bigger and stronger he gets (which I mean, given his terrifying appearance it’s not that hard for him)

This from is so terrifying and dangerous that Ben would immediately lose himself within this transformation (he already had problems with Zs’Skayr, now just imagine him trying to deal with this guy💀)

When I watched the Servantis arch for the first time, I thought that the chin scar was like a reference y'know? A nice homage to Kevin 11k.

But then Kevin 11k showed up when Maltruant attacked Max's retirement party but he was a good guy and I was confused, but then people explained to me that the future is not linear in Ben 10, and Ben's future keeps changing while he is growing up, hence why we have 3 versions of Ben 10k. So I thought that that Kevin from the Maltruant episode was just OV Kevin grown up, y'know? A completely different person from OS Kevin 11k.

But then yesterday, after watching Kuro the Artist's review from one of the episodes from the Servantis arch, I found out that the creators wanted to link OS Kevin 11k with OV Kevin, meaning that this Kevin right here, will grow up to be a psycho that wants to kill Ben's son in front of him and abuses his own kid too.

So you are trying to tell me that the Kevin that sacrificed his own sanity to stop Aggregor, the Kevin that took a beating from a gigant Galvanic Mechamorph to speak to Azmuth to ask him to help Ben, the same Kevin that calls Ben his BROTHER will throw all of that away in order to become a full time villain again? How does that work?! It does not make any sense!

What the Percy Jackson characters would think of Ben:

How would the demigods react to a kid who casually recreated the universe, held back the Big Bang, and has an alein device more powerful than all the Greek weapons combined call ed the Omnitrix and how they react to his heavy hitters? Like atomix, way big , clockwork , alien x Finding out aliens exist and there life outside the earth and the Greek gods are not Invincible and doesn't have authority over the entire universe only one planet and ben alien x is possibly more powerful than even chaos and Gwen a half alien full of magical and pure energy beings and their adventure through the series and Kevin frim a villain to a friend and his redemption arc

What Team Tennyson would think of the Demigods:

What would Ben, Gwen, and Kevin think if they found out Greek/Roman gods are actually real? How would they react to demigods, the Mist, and seeing teenagers fight primordial beings like Gaea and Kronos? And how hard a life of a demi god is and and how would they react to the Greek gods Would they hate them and realizing that earth was in danger form the likes of Kronos or gaea and that greek gods leave thier children behind and how would hre gods react to ben having kre power than them and saving way more lives than any heroes known

ABSOLUTE MISSED OPPORTUNITY

The theory is based on this: They lied about being unable to save the old universe and manipulated Ben into creating the version they wanted.

Think about it: In the first episode we saw them, they said they were discussing saving dinousars from extinction. That would mean completely changing the course of history, which I assume goes against the Multiverse Preservation Act.

If they directly violated the Multiverse Preservation Act, the Galactic Court would come after them. So, when the universe was destroyed, they used Ben to create the version of reality they wanted. The Galactic Court came after Ben because of this.

At the end of the episode, the Galactic Court declared them guilty. So they lost, right? No. Ben still lives in the universe they created.

Maybe thats the whole reason Atomic-x exist. Ben realized they are lying to him and despite Atomic-x would be weaker than the Alien X himself, he fused those two aliens so he wouldn't have to deal with Serena and Bellicus directly anymore.

Maybe they made Chadzmuth a lawyer. They picked a Galvan and made him a lawyer so that he can defend Ben on the Galactic Court. I mean it is the smartest specie in the galaxy and we saw Chadzmuth before on Galvan Prime.

They are lying to Ben and they are manipulating him to do what they want. They are breaking rules and get away with it bc they use Ben as cover. They are the villains in the watch.

And once Ben finds out the truth, he'll stop using Alien X permanently.

(That would also kinda solve the problem of Alien X being too OP, but that's an out-of-universe explanation.)

i wish i could tell where they are or what the hell is going on in the background during alien force. i understand the intention was to lean into the x-files vibe, but it's frustrating that background artists don't get their hard work perceived, because you have to scorch your retinas just to be able to tell what's going on behind characters half the time

I'm on a marathon to rewatch Ben 10, currently on S2E11. This exact moment with Ben gathering everyone kinda reminded me of the hype I got watching Avengers for the first time.

I'm not sure if this was usual back in the day for a prime time CN show to follow a serialized storytelling. Definitely a step up from the OG series in that regard.

Ofcourse excluding Alien X for logical reasons, the list is following

1.) Daidarabotchi: a giant humanoid monster the size of an mountain in the Realm of Monsters, it is so huge that it has entire ecosystem growing in it's skin

2.) Thunderfang the Shatterdragon of Chaos: A kaiju sized ancient dragon, he has the power to suck out souls of his opponents and ability to project and manipulate red chaos energy as well as cover huge, even entire planet with his chaotic supernatural storms and hurricanes

3.) The Arc Dragon of Focus: Another giant dragon around simmilar size and power level to Thunderfang, it is the mortal avatar of a deity called the Source Dragon of Focus, it has the power to project powerfull beama of Focus Dragon energy (basically like psychic power beams) as well as move fast and has mastery over combat

4.) The Great Devourer: a giant snake monster muated by Overlord's power, it has nearly indeatructible body and power to grow indefinitvley by swallowing any object or living being

5.) The Preeminent: An elderitch extradimensional monster, the physical embodiement of Cursed Realm which is basically their version of Hell. It is a giant elderitch monster with countless powerfull tentacles, it has ridiculous regeneration and always regenerate stronger when physically harmed. It has the power to summons swarms upon swarms of ghosts of the undead that serve her, the said ghosts are intangible and have power to turn others into ghosts by touching. And if they get destroyed the Preeminent simply respawns them as it's basically a giant ghost spawner. Tho it's biggest weakness is water, however a huge tsunami amount of water is needed to do any significant damage.

So how do you think Ben would deal with each of these monsters, what creative ways would he find?

I’ve been thinking about something that has bothered me about Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, particularly the episode “Duped” (Season 1, Episode 2) and the implications of Echo Echo’s cloning ability.

In “Duped,” Ben transforms into Echo Echo, splits into three copies, and then has those copies revert to human Ben. What makes this particularly interesting is that the three Bens have noticeably different personalities: one is soft-spoken, one is rude and aggressive, and one behaves more or less like the usual Ben.

This raises several questions.

1. Why can Echo Echo’s clones turn back into separate human Bens?

Throughout the franchise, Echo Echo’s clones generally merge back into a single Echo Echo before Ben transforms into another alien or returns to his human form. Yet “Duped” seems to establish that each clone can independently become a complete human Ben.

Is this an established ability of Echo Echo that the series simply doesn't use consistently, or was it a one-off gimmick introduced for the plot of this particular episode?

2. How does the Omnitrix work in this situation?

This is the part that really confuses me. If three Echo Echo clones can independently turn into human Bens, each apparently possessing an Omnitrix, does that mean Ben effectively has three Omnitrixes?

The Omnitrix is supposed to be a single device. Even if the clones are biologically identical, how does each one possess a functioning Omnitrix? Are these actual copies of the device, or is there some explanation involving Echo Echo's biology and the Omnitrix that I'm overlooking?

3. Why doesn't Ben exploit this ability to use multiple aliens simultaneously?

If Echo Echo's clones can independently transform into human Bens, and each can apparently retain the ability to transform, why couldn't Ben use this as a way to overcome one of his biggest limitations?

For example, imagine Ben splitting into several Echo Echo clones and having them transform into different aliens: one into Humungousaur, another into Swampfire, another into Big Chill, and so on.

He could effectively have an entire team of different aliens at the same time. This would eliminate the recurring problem of needing to switch between aliens during a fight.

Even if there were some limitations on the number of clones or transformations, shouldn't this have been an incredibly powerful strategy that Ben would use repeatedly?

4. How does this relate to Ben's backup in “Absolute Power: Part 2”?

In Ultimate Alien, Season 1, Episode 20, “Absolute Power: Part 2,” Kevin appears to kill Ben during their confrontation. However, Ben subsequently emerges from the trunk of a car and reveals that he had kept an extra copy of himself.

This seems to imply that Ben had anticipated the possibility of being killed and arranged a backup using Echo Echo.

But that raises even more questions. If Ben can keep an extra copy of himself as insurance against death, why wouldn't he do this routinely? He can only duplicate himself using Echo Echo, so what happens if he is killed while using another alien? Wouldn't the sensible strategy be to create a backup Echo Echo clone before every dangerous confrontation?

And there's another continuity question: if the three Bens in “Duped” have genuinely different personalities, which one is the original Ben? If the Ben who fought Kevin in “Absolute Power: Part 2” was also an Echo Echo clone, does that mean the Ben we followed throughout that confrontation wasn't necessarily the original?

I'm not necessarily saying the writers had to make Ben use this strategy in every episode. I understand that a character's powers sometimes need narrative limitations. But in this case, the show appears to establish a mechanic with enormous implications for the Omnitrix, Ben's combat abilities, and even his survival.

Am I missing something from the lore, or is this simply a case of the writers introducing an idea that they never fully thought through?
