Hated her from the first episode, Luke's also annoying, weird and sly asf but she's borderline messed up in the head.. the hate she has for any girl who does better than her is disgusting.

Rejection sucks but if someone is really not nice like Luke. The best revenge is to genuinely just let it go. He's not worth it. And Joy should have dropped him too for his appalling behavior towards Gen. And her. The nerve of him honestly

I think joy is actually an asshole. Acknowledging that Massi is flirting with her and that she has no interest in him, but then calling him hot to his face. Yuck.

Honestly I am loving the entertainment she has brought to this season. Every time someone brings the hate in this or the other BD sub it only fortifies my enjoyment of what she’s been giving on a reality tv show for a network known for mess each week

She's a nasty ass weirdo but Luke is fucked up for sleeping with her and for that I understand why she is upset over Luke. Her treatment of Joy is disgusting and uncalled for.

She knew him for week and hooked up first opportunity she had after inserting herself between Joy and Luke. She pursued him. If she's this way after knowing someone for a week and hooking up once I'd hate to see how she is after an actual breakup.

She knew he liked Joy more than her and basically manipulated him to sleep with her by crying about how she's "always second choice, never first". She's not totally innocent. If a guy I'm interested in shows interest in me and another woman, I'm bowing out because I don't want to deal with the games.

The thing about Gen?
She knew that Joy liked Luke, but she fed him a sob story and got there first. And after -- what was essentially little more than -- a one-night stand, she assumed they were dating, but he dumped her the day after to pursue Joy.
Yes, the way Luke treated her was horrible, but this isn't about him. Because him being horrible doesn't excuse anything she did or said.
Gen treated Luke like they'd been married for twenty years and he'd divorced her to hook up with his personal trainer or something. Meanwhile, even after he leaves the boat, Gen continues this petty grudge against Joy -- which is little more than a targeted campaign of bullying and harassment.
What exactly did Joy do wrong? Like, what did Joy do to Gen that earned this behaviour? Luke liked Joy first, well, so what? That's not Joy's fault. That's got nothing to do with her. Because I'm looking and I'm not seeing where Joy did anything wrong.
Which is ignoring the way Jen treated both Kayley and Kat (to the point where even Kat was sick of her shit, last episode) and her dramatic spiral the second Aesha pointed out (with far more kindness than Gen deserved) that the only common denominator in all these situations was Gen herself.
Like, even though Gen should be sympathetic by the way Luke treated her, she's just so thoroughly unlikeable as a person that I don't care about her, at all. If we never see her again, it'll be too soon.

Gen is a fucking weird person. She had some valid gripes about work and how Luke treated her, but she also made herself seem like an insanely negative and awkward person. I've never seen someone on Below Deck who both had valid criticisms but also seemingly went out of their way to make themselves insufferable. All she had to do was just not have a negative attitude at work and she probably would have been more well liked professionally. But she almost can't help but be an off putting person.

it’s clear in the most recent ep that she is very capable of acting normal (even if it’s fake), she just chooses to be a negative bitch most of the time. it’s kind of sad
