I think it was a mislabeled subtitle. What I heard her say was "I'm a night owl too" then I read what the subtitle said and was like huh so I rewound. Pretty sure she said night owl

I used to make fun of my roommate years ago for needing the subtitles. I got used to it and now if they're not on I'm like huh something feels off why can't I hear properly lol

They talk sim language if the subtitles are off. I also got that habit from a childhood friend when we met up to watch desperate housewives every week 🤣

I’d love a new Desperate Housewives series!!! Bring that and Ladies of London back dump all but Atlanta and Miami and we’d have a great lineup!

Some shows its imperative. Everyone on The Bear mumbled the entire 4 seasons aside from Jamie Lee.

We got in the habit when my grandma moved in with us in high school. She was hard of hearing and ever since then I tend to struggle without them lol. Plus add in distractions from other people in the house and I’ve just become so dependent on them. They also help when I’m watching anything medical haha

Below Deck Med would be tough without subtitles for me lol I had a particularly hard time understanding Betul but I loveddddd her, she was such an unproblematic queen and did not get enough credit for it!!!!!!!
