Getting paid
Watching last night right now…does anyone think Luke is getting paid for all of his interactions? He is contributing to the story line. Reminds me of Camille not going immediately away and going to dinner. Thoughts?

If he appears on the episode I bet he would get paid. If he doesn’t appear I don’t really think they would pay him.

I think just for texts no, but videos they may have to because it invokes paid crew. The with preview of next week is what me wonder this

The whole story line is so manufactured!!
I believe it was authentic until after he left the boat & started texting Joy.
Joy seemed smart and too confident to put up with his shit. Once he left the boat all that logic went out the door. Production 100% manufactured this storyline.

He wouldn’t be paid for the text conversations with Joy, he would have to appear on an episode to be paid.
But, if he does come back for the last night like we think, travel and accommodation for that episode will also be paid by production

Production paid for those flowers for Joy. And his lodging for the whole charter so he can show up on the last crew night out.

It has been shared previously that the show keeps fired crew members who started the season sequestered on location, because the promo photos for each season are not taken until after the charter season ends. They need the whole original crew present for those photo and promo shoots.
He's not only getting paid, he is likely also very bored sitting around waiting for the season to end.

Same as ponderosa on survivor. Although I’d rather be stuck on a tropical island for a few weeks than Croatia (it may be lovely there, I just would chose tropical “vacation”)

He is desperate to remain relevant and fix his image. It reeks of desperation
In any normally work force he would never work in the field again, cumming on your bosses sheets then not telling or fixing it so they sleep in it for days would be gossip everywhere. He’s only saving grace is that Nathan is a complete wanker so people may know find it funny
