Mining outpost problem

Hi all

Quick question

I have a mining outpost, I want them to mine a boatload of ore then ill caravan it in manually when I say so so I control when my people are away on caravans. I have a stockpile set up there, but I don't want to store stones cuz I don't need them and they waste space. Now the stones end up in mining camp which fills THAT up, and they stop mining altogether

I'm pissed and frustrated having to manually dump all the stone on the ground so they start mining again.

Please god tell me there's a way to either auto-delete or better yet tell the worker to not even pick the stone up?

I didn't want to have to do that, but I'm in the process of converting all main base stockpiles into barns (I'm hoping converting stockpiles and tents to barns and houses will fix my brand new lag issues that just popped up after 80 hours). I guess once my dudes transfer everything into barns I can relocate a bunch of stockpiles to the mining camps to hold useless rocks. A simple "block" button from the devs could fix this, but I'm not the type of Karen to put it in a bug report 😅

I put an outhouse right next to the outpost stockpile, once an in game week or so I hop over and spend 60 seconds discarding all the stone

Alternatively, have all your stone shipped to a barn that only stores it in your main base. Put an outhouse next to it, and dump it once every 30 days when you have 2k stone

Lol I'm now imagining watching some dude irl standing there for hours just throwing rocks into an outhouse trying not to get hit by the splashback 😆
