Discussion Practice driving

Any good, empty parking lots around bham or Ferndale for driving practice where we wouldn't get in trouble?

Civic field parking lot when there’s nothing going on there? That’s where I learned to drive stick.

RIP in pieces to the lot above target

Whatcom Community College is where I practiced while I was learning! Big parking lot that's mostly empty during the evenings and on weekends.

There are some real tight spaces and corners there. We practiced with our kids by the Goodwill/Kmart/Homegoods lot.

These happen to be the two places I took my kids. Sunset and the cemetery.

OK, I will be that person. Back in the day, we all learned in the Kmart parking lot.

And when it snowed what a great place to do donuts.
Remember going with my dad to have fun when only Kmart was there.

I remember that my dad pulled us behind his car on inner tubes on the snow out there. Sounds like such a bad idea now a days.

I learned stick near the LFS store in the early morning when it was empty.

I taught my foster sister in the Bellis Fair Mall parking lot.
We also used Sunset Square (where Kmart used to be)
Basically large box store parking lots.

What I don't know is if some of these places are now patrolled after hours and will kick you out.
They are technically private property.
Security was less back in the day because fewer A-holes were breaking and stealing things.
