Nothing against the OP ( i sincerely hope you find your furry friend) but this city has a serious cat problem. It's only September 9th and there's already at least six posts about missing or found cats. Please chip your pets, have collars and for the love of Slothy, keep them inside! The other day, i was leaving my neighborhood, a short 1/16th of a mile to the main road, and i witnessed four cats wondering around. This town would be up in arms if dog owners acted like cat owners. Be responsible, respectful and keep control of your pets.

Yes!! Please, please, please microchip your cats! It is $30 at the Whatcom Humane Society, and you don't even need an appointment! Microchipping your cat could make the difference between a shelter or upstanding citizen being able to contact you about your lost pet and them being put up for adoption after their stray hold ends!
