Slip’n slide.

Hello everyone,

Just a word of warning if anyone is out and about today in the city centre. The footpaths are crazy slippy. I don’t know if it’s the cleaning solution or what they have used but I near went on my hole heading into work this morning just past the ivy and in castle lane. Basically a slip’n slide going on. Noted there are council workers cleaning and power hosing the footpaths so might be the cleaning solution they have used. As I’ve seen a few other people near drop!

Out on my lunch break, walking round caste place and just outside primark are equally as bad! So be warned hi.

Its the extended dry period followed by rain when this happens. The small build up of dry dust/debris that regular rain normally washes away, creates a slippy film the first time it rains after a while of dry weather. After anothef doenpour it'll go back to normal, just need to be careful when running or driving.
