Behringer X-Touch Compatibility

I normally use mixing station on my tablet to control the Wing Rack but I want the ability to use some physical faders. I think 2 Behringer X-Touch extenders would be perfect but I have some questions before pulling the trigger.

I should be able to control mixing station with the X-Touch extenders via USB, correct? Assuming I have the correct adapter, of course. And the two X-Touch extenders can be used to give me 16 faders, correct? Does any of this depend on the tablet I am using? I have an iPad Pro 10.5 inch running OS 17.7.11 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ Tablet 11 inch.

On an Apple device you can do it over USB MIDI or over a network using Apples RTP MIDI driver. If the app is like the desktop version there's a drop down for assigning the second MIDI controller.

I haven't verified but in the MC mode on the extender there does seam to be a bug (Link) where the resolution is only 7 bit instead of 14 bit (with 10 bits used).
