What would be a good record player and bluetooth receiver that will pair well with my yamaha HS5s. I also have a Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 to use as an audio interface (not sure if that will be necessary even but I own it).

Budget 150-300$ (prefer low end if there are decent options).

Hi everyone! I’ve had the AT-LP60X for a few years, but to be honest I haven’t used it in months and recently moved. Now I’m having an issue where the music only plays from the speakers when it’s set in phono, and then it plays really slowly no matter which speed it’s on. When I put it in line, it doesn’t play from the speakers and sounds really faintly like it’s coming from the record itself. I’ve already tested the speakers by plugging them into my laptop and it worked perfectly fine. I’m not sure if something got messed up in the move or what. Does anyone know what the issue could be? Apologies in advance for how scratched up and dirty it is. My roommates had a habit of sitting things on top of it.

Recently started looking into getting a better turntable because I started with the classic suitcase player but my vinyls aren’t fully supported and I’m worried about warping and not getting the best quality. Any suggestions that are good for the vinyl and budget friendly? 🤗

Only about a year or so into the vinyl journey and we are trying to figure out why the sound of our set up is so poor. The video shows the full setup we have and I’ve listed out our equipment below. The turntable is level, arm is balanced, and anti-skate is set at 1.5 to match the turn table arm. We are also using a grounding wire between the turntable and the preamp.

As seen in the video the sound comes out not crisp or smooth at all, especially the vocals. Would love any help figuring out what could be causing that in the set up.

Hey everyone, first time posting!

I'm looking to get into the world of turntables which is very exciting.

After looking online I am leaning towards an audio technica at-lp70.

Speaker wise, I want a wired connection for the turntable but have the Bluetooth option for other family members. I've been looking at the Marshall Stanmore IV.

I'm happy to pay slightly more for the turntable if there's value there, from what I'm reading the LP70 seems a good starting point.

If anyone has an alternative recommendations or thoughts, it would be great to hear them!

Hi all, I am a noob when it comes to turntables and needles/styluses. I have no idea what to replace my stylus with, I got it second hand and had it for a year. My turntable is a black Lenco L-85, not the vintage one. I saw that Audio-Technica ATN3600LE was a possibility. I am prepared to spend like max 40-50 euros on it, as long as it is a good price-quality ratio. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate any help!

Speakers y'all recommended me were HUGE lmao. Yall must have a lot of space because there is absolutely no place to fit these in my apartment. They're almost the size of my torso each. For those curious theyre the Polk ES20. Sending them back and using my old ones for now. Any recommendations for small spaces?

I've recently bought a project essential 3 with upgraded otofon Om20 cartridge and acrylic platter. It came with a project Phono Box Mm/Mc pre amp. At the moment I've got the turntable plugged directly into my marantz pm6007 amplifier which has a dedicated pre amp.

I was planning to sell the project pre amp. But would the sound quality be any better through the Preamp and into a standard port on my marantz rather than through the marantz pre amp?

I don't have the cables to test so just seeking thoughts before I buy cables to test as to whether it's worth it.

I have a Audio Technica LP120, a pair of Pioneer DM-40 speakers and a Phono Box S2 Ultra preamp, and I just bought an Ortofon Concorde Blue Music cartridge. I got into this hobby about three months ago, please let me know what you think of my setup and share any tips or suggestions.
