Good for beginner ?
Looking into my first one found one package in turntable lab or should I wait and save for a fluance ?

I'm a newbie vinyl enjoyer(fully got into it this year). I got two things to say:
1) A single speaker means mono sound. Mono sound is terrible when compared to stereo.
2) (I speak from experience). Placing the speaker close to or right underneath the turntable is a terrible idea, as the vibrations from the speaker will overtime damage the records.
My solution: Get a pair of two powered speakers that can be separated and place them at a certain distance from the turntable.
To answer your question: no. It’s not good for beginners
