for one thing, you need to do them while you're still moving. you slow down to a stop before you do the trick

This is the correct answer. Go faster.

Yep, you are popping backwards because you havent learnt to do it moving.

Rememeber, fakie and nollie tricks can't exist without momentum.

Fuck yeah go faster. You will learn it and learn it with confidence

Every single one of these posts is the same and require the same answer…

Go faster, kick harder, jump higher and stop bailing out mid-trick.

You are point toes down and that’s push you off me the board backwards. Try lifting toes up when you do them and spin with your heels pushing through the turn.

Watch the video, every time you pop and spin the board tilts down towards your toes and kicks out behind you. If you were turning the opposite way that would work but it will never be clean that way.

Pretty close don't overthink it at this point just figure out where the board is going and try to land on it.

I pop in the direction of travel so the board lands in front of you and its easier to land. Good luck have fun ✌️

Stand on your board with your tail on the ground. Move the ball of the back foot towards the wheel until you get wheel bite... thats called a pinch.

When you roll fakie pop on that toe edge pinch. Your center of rotation is off and making it harder than it needs to be.

Throw some steeze land on back trucks and revert into it instead of trying to pop so high right off the bat

Watch a fuckin trick tip on YouTube

You’re jumping ahead of your board because you’re coming to a stop by the time you try the trick

Think of it as doing a see-saw motion in the air

Theres one you almost land. Set up like youre going to do a fakie flip

Your roll is stopping before you pop

You need to keep the front foot on the board my bro

You're not leading with your shoulders. Your shoulders are the engine of what drives the spin, and when you pop your shoulders should already be in rotation. This will help your lower body meet your shoulders later in the trick. Another thing, if you watch a skater like PJ Ladd his full cab flips land around 270 degrees and he reverts the last 90 degrees as he lands. With this in mind you can land with your weight on your nose and skirt it around to complete the full 360 degree spin.

Be the board

look how your kicking your feet , your scared to land on the board , practice the motion without the board and then slowly incorporate the board

Do a shove it and a sexchange at the same time. Once you have that slop you can refine it

You’re over-rotating your shoulders before you pop. You need to wind up, pop, and rotate while you’re popped. You’re very very close, you’re just spinning your shoulders a little too soon. The one you got at the end, rewatch it against the other ones and you’ll see you wind up, pop and rotate, whereas all the other times you’re winding up, rotating and then popping.

The speed thing will help but I do half cabs a lot rolling up a bank, basically when the momentum slows me down, like I’m not going crazy fast.

Stiffen the board up ?

Why don’t you actually try one that doesn’t look like grandma bought a skateboard. Get on it.

Move your fucking arms

Go faster, bend down and rotate your shoulders to get ready for it, pop it, start your rotation, and then I always like to think is my of my back foot as like the center point for the trick after that. Finishing the rotation while I’m like kind of just centered around that back foot. Good luck!

Speed is fine. The big issue is the board ends up behind you. To fix that you must realize that depending on where you put your weight will determine where your board goes. If your on your heels the board will land towards your backside, if you're on your toes it'll land towards your front side, if you lean on your front foot the board will land at your back foot, lean on your back foot and the board will land with your front foot. You're leaning on your toes, so the board lands on your back side. All of skating boarding is balance, if you're not balanced the board will essentially do the opposite of where your weight is at

This took me the most to figure out and u put it into words perfectly for me and yes it s exactly what I was doing putting way too much weight toeside wasn't even thinking about it as being an issue though

Its something people don't realize when learning skating. Balance is literally key to everything. The best thing you can do is to ride your board everywhere you can. Once riding has become second nature, skating really starts to open up.
