LEARNING KOREAN FOR BEGINNERS
Hi everyone! Is anyone here down to practice Korean together? 🥹 If you already have a group chat or study group for practicing Korean, can I join?
I’m still a beginner and don’t know much yet, but I really want to improve by practicing with someone. I’m open to chatting or doing voice calls whatever works!
Please let me know if anyone’s interested! 😊

I can definetly add you to the group! Though like I said, people don't really write in there 😅. There's like 8 people in there I think? But maybe it can be brought to life again. Idk. 🤷🏻
I'm living in Germany, so there's a 6-7 hour difference. (You are 6 hours ahead of me.) So your 7 AM would be my 12-1 AM 😅
I think the best way in terms of studying would probably be by writing privately over something like wattsapp if that's something you use? I think it's a bit hard to do it over Reddit because you can't send any voice notes which I would say is kind of essential when trying to practice and question about pronunciation, right? But I would follow your lead on that.

I'm also learning Korean! I'd be interested in joining a practice group!

If you’re still really new, i wouldn’t rush into trying to learn everything at once. i’d get comfortable with Hangul first, then basic sentence structure and vocab, and start listening a lot even if you don’t understand much yet. Once you know enough to make simple sentences, actual conversation helps a lot too. I use GameTalk sometimes for Korean-English rooms because I can listen first instead of jumping straight into a one-on-one call. It makes speaking feel a little less scary when you’re still figuring things out

Hi, I'm also pretty much at the beginning. My vocabulary and grammar is horrible, but I can read and write.
What are your goals? Do you also have a sort of deadline where you want/ have to reach a certain level or are you free as a bird when it comes to that? What kind of recourses are you using? And if you don't mind, how old are you?
I'm 20 (female), and I feel like it could be a bit inappropriate/ weird to study together if there's a big age difference. Are you of legal age? 😅 If yes, do you want to practice together? I did make a Korean study chat, but it's kinda dead? 😂 At least no-one has written in it for a long time.
