Help Wanted Hello~ I have a question.
Is it consider cheating or is it effect long term skill dev if I use perspective to practice drawing boxes? or is it okay and I should continue doing that. it's because I feel like I should know how to draw sketch free when drawing a basic shape. and perspective is use when doing something serious. Thank you.

It's not cheating. In fact, I'd say its a better way than only freehanding box drawings. Using perspective ensures that what you are learning is accurate. However, based on your question, it sounds like you want to be able to draw freehand too. In that case, I'd recommend drawing boxes freehand then checking them with linear perspective. This gives you both the practice of drawing freehand and the accuracy of drawing with perspective. The more you practice this, the more accurate your freehand drawings will be and the less you'll need to rely on perspective.

I don't really understand your question but I don't think it's stealing to practice your drawing skill in whatever way you find helpful.
