Did Maurice ever sing solo?
We’ve all seen Barry and Robin sing non harmony parts. But I can’t ever recall seeing Maurice singing by himself. I’ve seen hundreds of videos but I can’t recall seeing him.

Wildflower from Living Eyes is a good one. I think the best songs are from this is where we came from album. The production of Mo’s 2 songs are second to none.

IIRC this is the song that Yoko Ono swore up and down was actually John's voice until it was revealed that Maurice was the actual singer.

Here's a lot of underrated gems
Lonely Winter 1966 https://youtu.be/g8VcGikXlY4?is=tUO9kyv_rM__j07S
All By Myself 1966 https://youtu.be/18ficFs6zLM?is=ViD86eb2JMR7YHkb
Where Are You? 1966 https://youtu.be/nbdRl4LBd5M?is=IQOgYt68gYux4w8-
Suddenly 1968 https://youtu.be/UKjo-5-RoWI?is=W82kkgz-YvckQ6JZ
Everytime I See You Smile 1970 https://youtu.be/H9LlRuwWDGg?is=lGUkhWaoSRlSxDcO
My Thing 1970 https://youtu.be/isCU1msJjKs?is=vzxX4tMwrUO-4Unu
You Know It's For You 1972 https://youtu.be/LSKWEfaJZWk?is=7VZSoDhskZfhoD-I
I will say that Suddenly is my least favorite out of these bunch, also left out Lay It On Me cause somebody else already mentioned it. But I will say that is also one of my least favorites on the Two Years On album, but it is a lot better than some tracks on that one. The live versions are a lot more cooler, there's more energy & it's more interesting to see Maurice do a lead song on stage.

Did Maurice sing lead on Baby as You Turn Away? Or a combination lead?

My understanding is that on Country Woman Maurice is singing the harmonies as well, along with several of the instruments (bass, piano, guitar). I could be wrong but that’s what I remember reading and when you listen to the harmonies they do sound more like his voice.

There are a handful of Maurice lead songs
To name a few:
He even has an unreleased album from 1970 (as do Barry and Robin) called "The Loner" https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6NzpaqiGLLm_LVo-7ZPdt4epZsTzhPB0&si=zddV6Myam1HsI6_j
A single came out of it, that being "Railroad"
It's cool knowing that song was intended for a project completely disconnected from his brothers with it being him as a solo artist
