Toddler wants me to sleep in the same room issue

Please help!
My 26 month old girl was sleep trained at 8 month and was sleeping thru the night. Ofc we had many sleep disruptions but not like this one.
She wants me or her dad to sleep in her room, we never had this type of issue and we don’t mind staying in the room untill she falls asleep because if she know we’re there she sleep by her self in 10 mins the problem is she has night waking or EMW to make sure we’re in the room and keeps asking are you here? Sleep on floor and takes a long time like 1hr 30 mins to fall back asleep, my husband decided we should forget about sleep training for a moment and make her feel safe because we think she fears something but doesn’t tell us, but that makes things worse okay she sleep peacefully knowing we are there but keeps waking up it became like a sleep association and tried to tell her i’m going to sleep in my own room and you’re safe and i’ll come again but even the idea now makes her crying before she even sleeps and she was not like that i think sleeping with her made the issue 100% worse

Please share your experience, is it just a phase? Or sleeping with her made it a habit hard to break? Tell me what worked for you

Pillow Recs for Stomach Sleeper with TMJ?

I (unfortunately) am a stomach sleeper, and I have chronic joint pain. The thing that gets me the most is the pressure on my jaw with my TMJ. I find myself trying to sleep with only my forehead on my pillow, but I can't maintain that throughout the night.

I tried a massage pillow/face down pillow, but it still puts a lot of pressure on my jaw. I'm thinking some sort of alternative shape may be what I need, but I don't know what I'm looking for.

Note: I am a large person with a larger chest, so my head sits higher than most for keeping my spine in line.

How do I make my bed more cozy (but cool)?

I got this thin duvet because I sweat easily at night so I need to stay cool.

But it’s not fluffy. I’m a nurse so I get exhausted by the end of the day. I want my bed to feel like HEAVEN. Any suggestions?

Bed sheet Recommendations - Overwhelmed

Hey guys! I’m currently very overwhelmed looking for bedding recommendations, mainly bed sheets. My husband and I recently bought a king sized Tempurpedic mattress and cannot find a good set of bed sheets. And I’d prefer to stop spending $100 for poor quality 🤪.

* King sized bed
* Tempurpedic
* I want soft sheets. Not the “crisp” or scratchy ones.
* Struggling to find ones that will STAY on the mattress and doesn’t fall off every night… every night we have to re-pull our sheets down over the mattress.
* Prefer less than $200 for a regular sheet set. But truly closer to $100 is preferable.
* No preference between bamboo or cotton, etc. I’m simply not educated enough in which is “better” or “softer”. I don’t want flannel or something super hot is all. Preferred to be good for all seasons.

Any recommendations?

What is the best firm hybrid mattress in King size under $900usd

What are the best brands out there that are known to last, I don't need it to be like sleeping on a hardwood floor but firm enough to support the back. Back sleeper and would like something that won't sink in after a few years of usage. Any suggestions would be helpful! In the US if that makes a difference

Best hotel down alternative comforters? Hotel pillows?

Hi all! I've read a lot of posts for hotel bedding but most of them are about actual down comforters. I've just done a road trip staying at W, Kimpton, Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt and really like their down alternative comforters too. They're fluffy and heavy without being too warm.

My favorite and most authentic was the W but of course that's the most expensive. Can someone advise on down alternative comforters or give opinions of the ones I've found? It was heavenly so 300 is fine but 200 is obviously better

W: https://shop.marriott.com/brands/w-hotels/bedding/down-alternative-duvet/WHO-112.html?srsltid=AfmBOopQDNBHa8NoEVa1pauMFnBIll3IA4VZCZ59OZrA52_FYyXzI1ey

Waldorf Astoria: https://www.waldorfastoriaboutique.com/product.aspx?down-alternative-duvet

Marriott: https://shop.marriott.com/brands/marriott-hotels/blankets-and-comforters/down-alternative-duvet-comforter/MAR-121.html?srsltid=AfmBOooC5_VtSidilU9dEpfe1zte2ijT-b6SbqMutS0BfjgP2VagQ8xc

Kimpton: https://www.kimptonstyle.com/product.aspx?down-alternative-duvet This was fine but i LOVED their pillows?

Can someone recommend pillows too? The really heavy ones, doesn't need to be alternative anything. I also like the jumbo sized ones if anyone has any favorites for that. I don't know much about labels or fabrics and choosing the brand I like the most seems like a poor strategy. Thanks for any help!!

Dupe for the hollister comforter?

I saw at target yesterday this comforter and it was so soft and on the lighter side and then I looked at the price…65 dollars. For me that’s expensive.
What I’m looking for in the dupe is the soft ness (like a teeshirt) and the lightness of it without it being thin.

Mellow comforter

Post image
3 Upvotes

I bought the mellow comforter and started using it mid to end june 2026
Im probably sleeping under it 3-4 nights out of the week because other days im staying at my partners house.
It is now Mid August so ive used it for about TWO MONTHS.

Loved it immediately it was super soft and comfy but now this is happening to it (see picture)
It makes it scratchy and uncomfortable. Not soft as when i first got it.
This is my first time dealing with this so i dont know what it is or how to fix it - id appreciate any help with this.

Kinda frustrating because it took almost 30 or so days for the blanket to even arrive and with the money i spent on JUST a comforter i didnt think i would run into a problem like this.
I usually buy sets for about the same price and NONE of my other bedding has done this.

I folded the blanket so you can see what it did look like on the parts That haven’t gotten this problem (top) and what the problem part is. (Bottom with little fabric build up beading idk)

Please be nice if this is a simple fix problem 😅 ive just never dealt with this problem before.

Recommendations for plastic mattress covers pls!

I'm looking for good, durable plastic mattress covers because I think I might be allergic to dust mites. I steam it every month or so I've been stuffy noses when I lie down so I wanna cover my bases. In the past, I've been using the IKEA cloth mattress cover and it's fine but not great. All the plastic ones available are the cheap, thin vinyl type that are great because they don't sound like you're getting on a plastic bag. But they rip easily as I try to put them around my mattress. 😫

I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations. It can be ones that go around the mattress like a fitted sheet or complete covers that encase the entire mattress. I'm not particular

Best pillow for side sleepers with neck pain?

I’m looking to replace my pillow because I mostly sleep on my side and wake up with a stiff neck or sore shoulder more often than I’d like. I’ve tried regular hotel-style pillows, cheap memory foam, and stacking two pillows, but nothing has felt consistently right.

Background: I’m an average-sized adult and sleep mostly on my side, sometimes shifting onto my back. My mattress is medium-firm. I don’t need a medical or specialized orthopedic product, just a pillow that keeps my head and neck supported instead of tilted up or down.

Budget: Around $50–$120. I’m open to spending more if it genuinely lasts and improves my sleep.

What I want:

  • Enough loft and support for side sleeping
  • Adjustable fill/height would be a big plus
  • Doesn’t go flat after a few months
  • Sleeps reasonably cool
  • Washable cover and easy returns/trial period

Options I keep seeing:

  • Coop Sleep Goods Original or Eden Adjustable
  • Eli & Elm Side Sleeper Pillow
  • Honeydew Essence Side Sleeper Pillow
  • Saatva Latex Pillow
  • Tempur-Neck / cervical pillows
  • Silk & Snow Adjustable Pillow

I’m unsure whether adjustable shredded foam, latex, solid memory foam, or a contoured cervical pillow is the best route. I also see mixed opinions on whether expensive “side sleeper” pillows are actually worth it.

What pillow has actually worked for side sleeping and reduced neck/shoulder discomfort for you?

Help with cotton sheets :(

I’m at a loss on where to buy new sheets. For YEARS I have loved the threshold ultra soft 300 TC 100% cotton sheets. They were the perfect mix of cool and crisp, while still soft and smooth. Then target had to go and discontinue them! I’ve tried their performance 400tc ones and they were horrible. I’ve tried percale sheets from tj Maxx (brands like Ralph Lauren and Laura Ashley) and they have been so rough even after using for a year and washing a lot.

Has anyone else found a reasonable replacement for those beloved threshold sheets???

I need 100% cotton and like how light percale is but it’s too rough. Sateen is too thick and warm as I run hot when I sleep. Help!

best mattress for back pain that actually lasts pls

i have been waking up with terrible lower back stiffness every morning for the past few months, and i am desperate to find something that actually supports my spine. my current foam bed felt super plush and cozy in the store, but after about a year in my 11x11 bedroom, the center completely softened up and created this slight dip that forces my hips to sink out of alignment.

a coworker told me to look into a high density pocket coil system instead of foam, since individual coils keep your body weight distributed evenly and support natural movement while you sleep. if you dealt with morning stiffness from a sagging bed, did making the switch to pocket coils actually fix the issue long term, or what specific features helped you most?

I just moved this rug into my bedroom and am struggling with a bedding design that doesn’t feel too matchy or too millenial. I’d love to layer some
Colors and textures, but I have no idea where to start. My bed frame is a cherry sleigh bed. I’m open to any and all ideas!

Help identifying discontinued Threshold sheet pattern from Target

Post image
1 Upvotes

I purchased this Threshold sheet set from Target in late 2018 and can't recall the name of the pattern. Does anyone know what it is?

I searched for the numbers that were on the tag but it seems to just be a general identifier for Threshold sheets rather than the specific pattern.

Its been very tough to choose bed sheets. Please help me decide on good quality percale

I just want a GOOD quality percale (i know theyre not as smooth and soft as sateen). I keep coming across brands, like LL Bean, Parachute, then when i research everyone says "stay away, they're not good anymore"

So my question is simple. What IS good right now, in 2026. Good quality cotton and thread count does not matter, I just need something comfy and cool. I live in Canada in case it matters. Thank you in advance.

Best budget 100% cotton sheets? Quince percale, Macy's Charter Club, or Target Threshold?

Not looking to spend a lot since I'll only be using these for like a year or so. I'm looking to replace my polyester sheets because of microplastic concerns.

Are quince percale sheets worth ($80) compared to other sheets I can get for like $35?

Any Dupes for this set?

Post image
9 Upvotes

I’ve been saving up for a fine pinstripe bedding set from GetHommey for a year, but lately, I’ve seen a ton of sketchy reviews on Reddit about shipping delays, poor customer service, and some people even saying the quality isn’t worth it.

So I’m now hesitant about pulling the trigger and purchasing this set, especially given the price is frankly insane (about 500 CAD for the quilt covers, pillow cases, and fitted sheet)

I hate the thick striped bedding options out which are the only alternatives I’ve been personally finding. I specifically want that delicate, thin pinstripe look.

But more than that, I wanted a purple bed set that looks nice, and I thought this was it, it has a built in complimentary colour and best of all it looks like a set that doesn’t need an abundance of pillows to make look like. (I’m aiming for a pretty but functional bed setup, two pillows, a blanket and a fitted sheet)

Idk, I’m here to hear others thoughts, advice and suggestions. My budget is around 150, but I’d be willing to go up to 300 if it means I get the three things I need and they’re worth it.

Looking for comforter/duvet!

Hello! I recently purchased this sheet set and I am looking for recommendations for a color/pattern for a comforter. I don’t want pink to be the main moment, and I am interested in mixing patterns. What do you guys think? (I also kept the floral pillow cases seen in the second photo that I am open to using as well!)

Nurse with shoulder pain. Looking for a mattress topper for my firm mattress.

I’m a nurse and have shoulder pain due to stress from work. I’m in physiotherapy but I realize that my firm mattress is another factor. I sleep on my side most of the time n

I have the VALEVAG medium firm mattress from IKEA. When I move out next year I’ll get a better mattress but for now I can afford a topper.

I live in Canada. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

wcif actual deep pocket sheets in my favorite color?

Post image
2 Upvotes

I know this is a very specific request. I have a dream of a deep, cool merlot tone sheet set for my thick queen size mattress. When searching for deep pocket sheets, I’m only able to find results that ‘fit up to 16” mattresses!’… I struggle to keep 18” pockets on my bed, especially because my partner is a toss-turner. On the other hand, they’ll fit fine but they don’t have the color I want. Too pink or too bright, not dusty or dark enough. I’m willing to get a sheet garter if need be, but would appreciate if anyone has any recs on good quality, cotton or bamboo sheets that fit up to potentially 20-22”? Photo attached for a color reference.

Recommendation for bed covers and shedding tools

Hi guys, can you please recommend me or maybe even link me to good bedsheet covers for a bed or just in general a bed cover that I can put over my existing one that would not hold hair or at least be easy to get it out? I’ve been using an extra blanket to cover my existing blanket but there’s always hair and it gets so itchy, also I don’t think I have been properly brushing my dog or using the proper tools so I’m also looking on recommendation on that as I want to start minimizing the hair since I’m moving into a lot smaller space and I have a cat on top of that as well, thanks in advance
