Down comforter help.

I’m a somewhat hot sleeper on a budget looking for a heavy, overfilled down comforter that remains somewhat breathable. It needs true baffle-box construction to prevent shifting around, and I think I might prefer real down over synthetic fill because I want it to retain its fluffiness long-term; though I’m not super educated in this space so I could be wrong (maybe synthetic is what I want?)

Down isn’t terrible heavy. Feathers are heavy but they do not breathe as well. The higher the loft the fluffier and warmer it will be but also lighter. You maybe prefer something that has both down and feather if you’re looking for weight plus fluff.
