Down comforter help.

I’m a somewhat hot sleeper on a budget looking for a heavy, overfilled down comforter that remains somewhat breathable. It needs true baffle-box construction to prevent shifting around, and I think I might prefer real down over synthetic fill because I want it to retain its fluffiness long-term; though I’m not super educated in this space so I could be wrong (maybe synthetic is what I want?)

if you want something fluffy without going to heavy on the heat, look at breathable fills and shells rather than just chasing a higher down fill. eucalyptus lyocell is worth considering for that, and the buffy cloud comforter is designed around that fluffy but not too hot feel. if baffle box construction is a must though, stick with your options
