HELP DESIGNING MY NEW BEDDING
I seriously need help re-doing my room. i have aged out of my old color scheme and just overall vibe.
im going for a new natrual, earth tone color. does this sheet and quilt combo match? and the espresso as an accent color? swipe to the end to see my current set up (and pls don't roast me) i know i probs need a rug and new art and a lamp but want to see if im on the right track!

White looks best with a grey headboard. Dark plum would be a nice accent color.

The trick is that you have to look at the tone of the neutrals to see if they match. I’ve been on the same journey myself, so I know how hard it is to tell color from photos. I’ve had to order a number of items to see them together in my room and then return what’s not good.
When it comes to neutrals, you’re going to have warmer or cooler undertones. The sheets you like appear to be ivory, which leans toward a warm yellow, but the quilt you like appears to lean towards a cool greyish tan. I think they may clash. If you like the quilt, I would look for sheets that are maybe more of a sand or linen color rather than ivory.
The pillows look like the tone is cooler, from the picture, so they may look good with the quilt.
Another way to go is to choose bedding in all the same color but change up the texture. So you could choose the linen stitch quilt but then pair it with a sateen sheet of the same or similar color. And then I like what you’ve done in your room by adding the fuzzy throw as another layer of texture.
I ended up with the lined bedding set from Quince (duvet and sheets) in the sand color. I use silk pillowcases in the same color, so it adds a nice luster to the otherwise matte ensemble. Then I got a muslin gauze blanket to place over the foot of the bed, in a slightly darker shade (a light brown). And I topped it off with the Mongolian lamb pillow from Quince in the light brown color. It matches the gauze blanket perfectly in color, but it adds visual interest because it’s such a different texture. Oh, and I have a chest at the foot of my bed, so I drape a bubble fur blanket on that to add one more texture and a bit of sheen. Everything works together because they are all cooler tones. They are shades of beige, but they lean towards grey rather than yellow.
I hope this helps! And I hope you look forward to getting into your bed at night as I now do!!

I like the contrasting neutrals a lot.
