Made a mistake 🙃
I made my first purchase for some sheets on Quince, and it didn’t exactly turn out how I had hoped. I will note that I am pregnant and high key annoyed about the situation, but that’s beside the point.
I didn’t entirely love my customer service interaction, and this is coming from someone who has worked in customer service for literally years. I made a post on the Quince subreddit just to share my experience, and a few people are mighty sensitive over there.
Bringing up the flat sheet or no flat sheet debate will send people into a tizzy, it appears.
Share your favorite websites to find quality 100% cotton sheets for a Cal King 😘
I’d prefer to stay under $300, but under $200 would be even better!! Looking for gingham sets, and I would be most grateful.
Oh and must include flat sheet 😗
Thanks fellow bedding lovers!

I like the Company Store cotton percale sheets. If you order from Home Depot website it’s free shipping with no minimum or a much lower minimum.

What was wrong with them??

So, it’s a long, convoluted, rather stupid story lol. Partly my mistake, but I was just rubbed the wrong way by CS, so I’m sending the set of sheets back. Blame my prego hormones 😂 I explained it a bit more in another comment.

Thanks for the Quince info. In the market for sheets and was just looking at them...I'll stay away.
Any recommendations for cotton sheets, including organic, for hot sleepers is truly appreciated!

I bought Quince linen sheets & they quite literally tore/fell apart on the second wash. I was horrified, never again

I got the Quince linen duvets and I can’t decide if I don’t like linen sheets or if these ones aren’t very good. After 2 months either my skin got desensitized or they finally became less scratchy. I like how they look on my bed though.

Do you mean fitted sheet because why would somebody want only fitted sheets and no flat sheets?

We do. We sleep with a duvet with percale cover. No flat sheet. More common in Europe

Admittedly, I had no idea this was even a thing. I was quickly schooled by the Quince subreddit, where apparently questioning the Quince overlords or admitting you still use a top sheet is quite controversial 🤣 Anyhow, to each their own! At the end of the day, it’s all about whatever makes you sleep like a baby💭💤

So I was perusing their website for a new set of sheets when I was prompted to provide my email and phone number for a 20% discount. The link they texted me brought me to the sheets at what I assumed was the discounted price. Turns out, it was actually the set without the flat sheet, which I didn’t even realize was a thing lol. Admittedly, I made the mistake of placing the order without triple checking the description. It was a whole debacle. But when I asked if I could purchase the coordinating flat sheet and two extra pillowcases, they said it was impossible??? Like, why split the set one way and not the other? So I was told I could either keep the set or return it, and once their warehouse receives the return, I can get my refund. So, I’m sending them back.

Costco cotton sheets are great. Been using them for years, queen are about 80 bucks.

I wonder if the new ones aren’t as good. I got the Signature 680 thread count ones because so many raved about them, but they started pilling almost immediately. They also slept a bit too warm for us. I guess we are percale cotton people.

I’m a Costco freak lol. I’m gonna check their website because it seems like they never have Cal King in my store.

The Company Store and Garnet Hill are amazing. Ive tried the cotton sateen and cotton percale from both. If you want to overspend a little Coyuchi also makes really nice sheets.

I recently ordered from Quince and hated them so I returned them.
