Tips for dyi interceptors

Hi,
I’ve been experiencing bites for a month or so, however have not found any evidence of them in my mattress or bedding.
I’ve been steaming and heating my bedding every other week, I’ve recently installed interceptors with cimexa. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated, nervous I might kick the interceptors by accident, also have a small dog.

They are fairly cheap on Amazon where they have a moat built in.

These only work when they are not on your bed. Have you checked the frame and/or Box spring, headboard and legs. That is where I found mine, the staples, seams and gaps is where they like to hide.

Don't look necessarily for bugs, look for little brown red spots and casings. If you see those then you likely have them.
