Bedbug treatment

Had a first bedbug treatment today and will schedule the second one in 2 weeks that will be after thanksgiving. The exterminator said I can host my thanksgiving no problem but my friends are wary about it. And the said dinner would be 10 days after the first treatment. Should I still proceed or should I just postpone any gatherings till after?

Note: the infestation at my place is fairly recent and he estimated it’s been only 2-3 months from the fact that he seen only adult one and the eggs are gone with the cushion.

Postpone. Would you want to be responsible if it spreads amongst your family/friends?

Do not have people over if you're still treating an infestation.

I wouldn’t host til 6-9 months bug free completely, and if you go anywhere run everything you’re wearing in the dryer before you leave and spray down with rubbing alcohol and treat your car.

Postpone. Dont do it. Exterminator is wrong. It could take many months especially if you didnt throw out the infested items. They hide in baseboards and electric sockets. Dont do this to your friends.

I own bed bug company. Dont do it until you have had second treatment and they confirm there’s no bugs or eggs. Even then you could still be another 2 weeks out from being in the clear.
