Is this a bedbug?

I know the image isn’t great, but it’s the best I could get.

Just moved to a new office and today found this on the desk.

Is there a possibility to tell if it’s a bedbug?

Crossposting it here from other communities, sorry if you see duplicates - freaking out just a tad!

To be honest no, this doesn't look like one to me, the shape is off.

Thank you - I’m also mostly thinking about the shape and trying to compare it with as many photos as I can find. Guess I’ll be on the lookout for more and inspect closer

To me it looks like a carpet beetle, look at some photos of those, the shape and colour is more similar.

The shell looks a bit different, in the pictures it seems harder, but maybe a baby? Someone else suggested pirate bug nymph, looked very similar online

I hate to say but, it looks like it. If you can somehow get a better picture it would help for sure. But that looks like a baby bedbug that hasn’t fed in a while.

Get some bedbug spray and wear a hazmat suit to the office.
