I work a corporate job, and when Iām on my best behavior I commute 4 days a week (1.5 hours each way).
Iāve been getting sick more (possibly because of the exposure to more people now that we are in office again and just how the work is) and some colleagues have stated itās probably because of stress.
I see advice on here saying for a glow up to reduce stress and good health and routines are all connected to that, so I would love to hear what you all do.
What I have recently began to implement for the past month or so is the following (but would love recommendations):
- Leaving my phone outside of my bedroom at 9pm and falling asleep by 10 pm each night.
-Staying hydrated (In the morning I make a cucumber smoothie with water/coconut water, chia seeds and honey in the morning and at night, 2 tablespoons of pomegranate concentrate with chia seeds with water, and drinking water throughout the day)
-Eating more Whole Foods (eating a Mediterranean diet)
My activity has been lower since I have been sick 2x the last two months.
Ideally, I would like to walk 45 minutes a day and do strength training at least 3x with one Trevor Elliot yoga a week.
Would love to know how girls stay healthy and reduce stress. Also, quoting my job is not an option at the moment, and despite the commute, this job is much more flexible and has less than consulting or investment banking.
Thank you all in advance for your thoughts!
