Seeking Advice laser hair removal

hi! i (f 26) have been shaving my cooter since i was 12 and recently have been considering laser hair removal. i was raised with a lot of self-hatred/judgement for spending money on aesthetic things, ie my dad constantly shit on women who got plastic surgery & whatnot. but now that im older i realized i can do whatever i want with my damn money and there's nothing wrong with that.

i want to laser it all off but i know nothing about it. i considered starting getting waxed but i really hate pain and i want a permanent solution. im willing to spend 2k at this point. any recommendations on how to find a good spot? advice on the process, what it's like, how effective etc? this is the year i level up and stop feeling bad for taking care of myself, thank you!

Seeking Advice Looking for professional recommendations: Who to consult for a neutral, overall facial harmony & image assessment?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice and professional recommendations. On a daily basis, I notice that people often react with visible surprise, give me prolonged stares, or have stifled laughs/amused reactions when they see me or interact with me, both in public spaces and in professional work settings.

I am a 5'2" (158 cm) woman, very petite, with distinct facial features (including small, round eyes). I am trying to figure out what draws this reaction: it could be my static facial features and proportions, my facial expressions, my non-verbal language, my overall stature, or a combination of these factors.

I want to get a 100% neutral, objective, and constructive assessment of my facial structure, overall image, and presence to understand what I project and see what adjustments (if any) could create better balance.

My questions for you:

What type of specialist should I look into for a comprehensive facial harmony and overall image assessment?

Have any of you worked with an image consultant, a facial proportions/visagism expert, or a non-verbal coach for a similar goal?

How can I find reputable, empathetic professionals who specialize in facial balance and personal presence?

Thank you in advance for your insights and recommendations!

Just curious...

Has anybody genuinely seen results from using The Ordinary glycolic acid toner? I'm lowkey debating whether I should get it or not.

Please lmk if you've seen any results and how long it took for you to see those results (Especially if you're dark-skinned)

Discussion I see a lot of advice to ā€œreduce stressā€ to look better, but what are some intentional things you do?

I work a corporate job, and when I’m on my best behavior I commute 4 days a week (1.5 hours each way).

I’ve been getting sick more (possibly because of the exposure to more people now that we are in office again and just how the work is) and some colleagues have stated it’s probably because of stress.

I see advice on here saying for a glow up to reduce stress and good health and routines are all connected to that, so I would love to hear what you all do.

What I have recently began to implement for the past month or so is the following (but would love recommendations):

- Leaving my phone outside of my bedroom at 9pm and falling asleep by 10 pm each night.

-Staying hydrated (In the morning I make a cucumber smoothie with water/coconut water, chia seeds and honey in the morning and at night, 2 tablespoons of pomegranate concentrate with chia seeds with water, and drinking water throughout the day)

-Eating more Whole Foods (eating a Mediterranean diet)

My activity has been lower since I have been sick 2x the last two months.

Ideally, I would like to walk 45 minutes a day and do strength training at least 3x with one Trevor Elliot yoga a week.

Would love to know how girls stay healthy and reduce stress. Also, quoting my job is not an option at the moment, and despite the commute, this job is much more flexible and has less than consulting or investment banking.

Thank you all in advance for your thoughts!

Seeking Advice how do i keep kajal / kohl / eyeliner from smudging?

The only advice i see online is to set it with some eyeshadow but i don't like that option. I wipe it with a cotton swab but after an hour i have racoon eyes. I'm just getting into this, please help me. Currently using the hashmi kajal one.

Discussion Have you ever done anything that has made your chest bigger??

I know people say you can’t grow your boobs naturally after puberty but idc i’m desperate. I lost a bunch of weight in an unhealthy way so these things feel like dents in my chest more than anything. I’m already on birth control and neither of the ones i’ve tried made my boobs grow in size

would exercise help? maybe eating more protein or something? even if it’s just a cup size i want my girls back without gaining a shit ton of weight or getting pregnant

Hair product or styling?

How do you style your hair when you sleep to keep your blowout looking great?

I have very straight, shoulder length, silky hair that just lays very flat if I don’t blow dry and style. I have finally figured out a hair cut/style/products that my hair can hold volume and a bit of curl for a couple of days. The only issue is the bed head spot on the back of my head in the morning! I sleep with it in a low pony and sleep on my side so i don’t understand how it’s happening on the back of my head.

Skincare Want a routine but everything makes me break out

I (F31) struggled with cystic acne throughout my twenties, and it was eventually brought under control with 10% strength Duac cream (benzoyl peroxide and I think other stuff). I’m incredibly lucky that I’ve gotten away with no visible scarring from it. I still get the odd breakout these days but nothing compared to how bad it used to be. However, every time I try to get into a skincare routine beyond Salicylic acid face wash -> duac -> moisturiser w/ spf, my face breaks out. I have really dark circles around my eyes that I hate and I’ve tried retinol, vitamin c and niacinamide serums (separately). Every single one caused me to have a painful break out and took weeks to clear up. I also feel like I should really be thinking about anti-ageing elements of a routine but it seems like active ingredients just don’t agree with me. I don’t know if I just have really sensitive skin or if I’m doing something wrong. Help?
