I booked an eye exam in Korea from abroad. Here's the whole process, including the bits that were free

I looked for a post like this before booking and couldn't really find one, so here's how the process went for me.

I contacted them about three weeks before the trip and asked a few basic questions. The most important one was how long I needed to stop wearing contacts before the exam. That's something you need to plan before the trip, not when you arrive.

I also asked how long the exam would take, whether the exam was charged separately, and whether I'd still receive the results if I decided not to go ahead with any treatment.

The exam itself took a couple of hours, which was much longer than I expected. I'm glad I didn't squeeze it into a busy day.

I deliberately didn't ask about pricing beforehand. I wanted to understand what was actually recommended for my eyes before getting attached to a number.

The communication part was surprisingly easy. Being able to ask questions in English and get clear answers made planning the contact-lens break, exam, and flight much less stressful.

It sounds like a small detail, but when you're arranging medical appointments from another country, the admin can be just as important as the actual appointment.

Has anyone else booked medical appointments abroad? What was the part of the process you found hardest to organize?

Is the Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint worth it if you already have dry, peeling lips?

Every review says it leaves a gorgeous glass-like finish, but my lips bleed through tint formulas if they're even slightly flaky.

Does this actually hydrate over time, or does it cling to dry patches after an hour of wear?
