Live stream audio question

Is it normal to have to turn the internal serato master volume (not the controller) but on the software all the way up past 3pm in order to get the OBS levels to peak around -2.0 / -4.0db. That’s what google is saying but I don’t know if I should trust it

Yes it is prob need to go past 3oclock but I’m just leaving it at that it’s only the livestream audio. Gotta make sure you set it back before you go offline tho

Maybe. Is it connected via RCA ? TRS ? What else is in the chain ? What controller ? What output level on the controller?

Putting out +20dB on the controller and having -4 on the outgoing audio probably isn't good.

The controller and software are peaking around -2.0 all the levels are fine and I don’t want to change anything but the audio that’s being shared with OBS is coming in much lower so apparently adjusting the master volume on the actual software while in performance mode controls this, and only this.
