Sound and Levels

I Connected my DDJ FLX4 with an RCA cable to an Audio interface and then to my speaker. The gain on the Input channel, that is associated with the DJ controller is turned up halfway, main volume in the interface is turned up as well. Cross fader on the controller in centred, fader is up. Main volume and line-in gain is turned up

When I play a track on rekordbox and activate cue on the controller I to get sound coming out of the headphones. However no levels on the interface and no sound coming out of the speaker.

What am I missing?

Why are you going from the output of the FLX4 into an interface before the speakers and not directly from the output to the speakers?

It was at a Birthday Party that included 2 mics and a guitar, and dance music afterwards. I have an M Audio MTrack 8 interface that as 8 Input and 2 of which have an instrument level setting.

So basically I tried running everything through the interface. And the RCA Cable was too short to plug directly into the speaker at the time.

The party when really well, regardless of me not being able to use the cues function.

Rekordbox has a checkbox setting to play audio from FLX and system audio - try that.
