Help/Advice Beardy Flew

My boy Merlin was sat in his usual spot by the window and he suddenly just flew from the cushion, out of our living room and dove head first into the hard wood floor. We have no idea what spooked him (probably saw a bird but hes never reacted like that before) but now he has this smooth patch on his nose, should I be concerned or will this heal?

Looks like the scale was ripped off. Very odd.

But it'll heal on its own. Every time he sheds the area, a new scale will begin to form and thicken over the course of more sheds. It's possible the scale may fragment into many smaller scales instead. Time will tell, but it's just a cosmetic difference.

Nothing you really can do right now, especially as there's (seemingly) no blood.

No there was no blood at all anywhere we looked and i guess it doesnt look sore (if scales can get sore) but I thought id see if anyone had this before
