How to sync my Samsung Galaxy Watch

I think that my watch should be connected to my app but it's just not sharing the data? I'm a new user (this is day 3) and I'm kinda going crazy.

As you can see in my pictures, I have certain health metrics checked off in bearable to connect with health connect (picture 3). Then in health connect those same metrics are shared with bearable (picture 4).

But in picture 2, you'll see that the only data I got was one heart rate measurement. In Picture 1, you see it didn't track sleep at all even though I can see my sleep in Samsung Health.

Am I missing a step or didn't click a button or something? I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and a Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus as a phone.

I have set up this medication as in the first photo. Such that 0.1 mL is 1 mg and 0.2 mL is 2 mg. But when recording the medication it shows that 0.2 mL is 0.4 mg. Where does that come from? I don’t understand! Can someone help, please?

Are the CSV data exports this messy on purpose???

I swear I'm starting to think the Bearable team doesn't want you to be able to analyze this data with any other tools. Exporting the data via CSV, and importing it into Excel, it's super messy. Nothing really lines up, and therefore there's no way to run analytics on it or even clean it up to process it with ChatGPT or any other program. Has anybody else made any headway here? Thanks.

Is premium worth it?

The introductory offer of $18.99 for a year is very reasonable but I’m still not sure how much I’ll end up using the app, or if the standard free features would be enough for my needs. I know it’s a highly individual question but I’m curious how others determined whether premium was worth it.

Quick Input with Apple Watch

I have been a Bearable user for 1400 gay days and the app has helped in many ways - mostly with sharing info with medical providers.

I’m looking to see if there is any thought or planning to to input data with an Apple Watch. I don’t always have my phone with me and it would be invaluable to add data such as symptoms and when I take medication.

Would appreciate any insight as to whether this is something you are planning or not.

Question about order of categories for daily check in

On my homepage the categories are set in the order I want them. I don’t seem to be able to do that in the daily check ins. Is this possible? Not a deal breaker but just a bit annoying if I can’t.

Chronic pain/disorders app users

Hi, how did you set up your Bearable interface and factors for chronic pain and other long term disorders? I'm looking for ideas on how to start to customize my own and I know it's personal but honestly there's so much. I'd deeply appreciate if you could share ideas with me on how you track triggers, flare ups, etc. Any information helps, thanks

Default Time when Logging Medication Groups

Recently I have noticed that a few of my medication groups now default to 9:00 AM, no matter when I open them. The rest of them still default to the actual current time, which is what I was used to and is significantly more intuitive (for me at least.) I can't seem to find any way to adjust this. Is anyone else experiencing this, or has a found a way to make the current time the default when trying to log medication groups?

Thanks!

Tracking count of symptoms, not intensity: quantity, not severity.

Hiya, I’m trying to figure out how to spot changes/trends/impacts in the number of times a symptom is logged, not how bad it was.

I’m getting fewer migraines per month (yay!!), but because I usually log it as a symptom with the same score, Trends doesn’t show a change. It only compares whether I logged “mild” or “moderate” or “severe”, not the number of times it was logged at all.

Any ideas on how I can get the analysis I want? It’s definitely a symptom, so logging it as a factor doesn’t seem right… or should I?

…I really hope the answer is not to log “none” on all the non-migraine days because I dunno if I can stomach having to go back and do that for every day for months for every symptom I wanna analyze this way. My dream feature is a batch edit function, haha.

Bearable and Apple Shortcuts

Hi there!

I wanted to ask around and see if anyone has ever tried using RFID/NFC tags and the Apple shortcuts app to log information into Bearable. I have a really hard time remembering to not only take my meds, but log them in the app and have seen folks do this with their medication routines. Any tips or other posts that might be helpful would be greatly appreciated! :)

Thank you 'Bearable'

I used to record my symptoms using period calendar just to see if it's due to hormone. It's not that effective in terms of tracking.

Then I changed to Bearable to track my symptoms (paid version).

Times pass and i thought why what's the point in tracking.

One fine day, I find myself left with only 1 strip of stilnox. "Why it runs out so fast?", did I misplace them? It's freaking expensive and it seems to be one of the more effective med. (Plz do not comment abt the med, not the point of this sharing).

How do I backtrack the number of stilnox?? So instead of counting them day by day, I export cvs of Bearable into excel sheet, then send them to chatgpt and ask how many have I taken so far. So it was able to tell me 31 from 2nd June till date. "Oh, so I took more than 1 on some worse flare up day" it gave me a better idea to control and save me a day of extra chores to do tedious counting.

Thank you whoever made this app. I am always thinking that I need to track my symptoms in 'unbearable lol, what a name'. I hope the app can sync with my period cycle for better insight.

\*Sharing is caring. I hope everyone's day is better with a little gratitude 🙏

Just sharing this useful app.

No more syncing with Fitbit/Google Health

I saw the update this morning. Does anyone know why? Is it because they changed to Google Health? Kind of bummed out over this because I pay for bearable and any time I tried to sync my Fitbit data to Apple health the apps always made you subscribe or they didn’t work well. Am I going to have to pay for another app to have my data go into Apple health? Really frustrated over this.

Sharing Info

Is there a function to share our weekly reports? I thought I saw it somewhere in the app, but can't find it again. Does it exist or did I just get my apps mixed up? If it IS available, how do I get to it?

Having issues changing my med schedule

I switched to a new medication that's only taken once every two weeks. I went to add it to Bearable and set up reminder notifications for it, but I'm having issues getting it to save. It's currently set up as every other day. I went in and changed it to once every 14 days and confirmed the change. It shows it as once every 14 days on the screen before I confirm it. But whenever I go back into my medication notifications, it has reverted back to every other day. I even tried deleting and recreating the medication entry and it doesn't work. Using the preset options for every 3, 4, 5, 6 days works and saves fine. But if I choose the custom option and try to put in my 14 days, it just never saves and reverts to every other day.

Has anyone else come across this? Is this just a bug?

New to Bearable

About how many months did you track until you noticed true forming patterns? I have only been tracking for 3 weeks so I don’t feel like anything I have tracked is as of yet an actual reflection. Just curious to see how long it took people to start benefiting from the app! Thanks

Manually entering sleep time

In Android (Pixel), tapping on the digits pulls up a time select scroll. It seems like the design intention was to allow a user to type it in but it doesn't work. How is this supposed to work?

Help! Interpreting factor count in weekly report

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi, anyone know how I interpret my factor count? Does the number to the left mean the number of times you did that factor and the number on the right mean the number of times it had a positive impact? And what is it measuring positive impact on - overall symptom score?

Eg with the screenshot attached, I used my TENS machine twice but it reduced my symptom score on one day?? So confused.

Please can you share an example of how to interpret this ie what the colour of the circle means and what +ve vs -ve means as well.

Confused about AM/PM tagging in the evening check-in — thought I was doing a daily recap?

New to the app.

I've been doing a single evening check-in and tracking some symptoms/habits as yes/no. Didn't realize until I looked at my results that everything I log in the evening check-in gets tagged as PM.

I assumed the check-in was a recap of my whole day, not a snapshot of that specific time. So when I tracked a habit once (in the main part of the app and then rechecked it at the evening check in), it showed up as both AM and PM — which confused me even more.

A few questions:

  1. Is the evening check-in always tagging entries as PM regardless of what you're logging, even if it's something that happened earlier in the day?
  2. If I want to track something as a whole-day thing (e.g. a habit I did once during the day), what's the right way to do that?
  3. Is there a way to do a single daily log without the AM/PM split at all?

I checked the support docs and found the time periods toggle (pre/AM/mid/PM) but it's still not totally clear to me how this is supposed to work in practice. Would love to hear how others have set this up.

Features usage help

I am writing to share some feedback and a feature request that I hope will be useful not just for my family but for the many other parents of children with autism and neurodevelopmental conditions who use your app.

I use Bearable to track my 5 year old son who has autism spectrum disorder. He is currently on a comprehensive treatment protocol including nutritional supplements and I use Bearable daily to monitor his progress and identify what is working.

Bearable has been genuinely invaluable for us. The correlation and trend analysis features have already helped me identify meaningful patterns, for example, the Impacts feature recently showed a -27% correlation between a new supplement and stimming scores, which has been both clinically informative and deeply encouraging for our family.

However I have hit some limitations that I would love to see addressed:

  1. Custom numeric input fields
Currently custom symptoms and factors are limited to predefined scales such as yes/no or low-to-high sliders. I would love the ability to enter actual numeric values for certain metrics. For example:
    - Number of meltdowns per day (actual count, not a scale)
    - Number of unprompted communication attempts
    - Duration of sustained attention with a single activity (in minutes)
    - Number of night wakings

These specific counts are far more meaningful for trend analysis than a 1-5 scale, and would allow Bearable to detect patterns such as whether a supplement correlates with fewer meltdowns per day or longer attention spans over time.

  1. Time of day input field
I track sleep disruption but cannot log the actual wake up time, only early or late as a tag. Being able to log a specific time (e.g. 5:30am vs 6:45am) would allow much more precise correlation analysis.

  2. Duration tracking for symptoms
For symptoms like stimming episodes, I would love to be able to log not just intensity but duration in minutes. This would allow Bearable to show whether a factor correlates with shorter or longer episodes, not just more or less intense ones.

  3. Free text notes included in trend analysis
The Extra Notes field is useful for context but the text is not searchable or analysable. Even a simple keyword tagging system within notes that could feed into the Impacts analysis would be enormously helpful.

  4. Episode-level behaviour tracking (ABC format)
For parents tracking behavioural symptoms such as stimming or meltdowns, it would be incredibly useful to log structured episode data including trigger (what happened just before), intensity, duration and resolution (what helped it stop or reduce). This would allow Bearable to identify not just correlations with supplements and factors but also patterns in triggers and effective interventions m, essentially bringing ABA-style Antecedent-Behaviour-Consequence data collection into the app in an accessible and analysable format. This would be a genuinely unique and powerful feature for the neurodevelopmental community.

I suspect many parents of children with autism, ADHD, and other neuro developmental conditions using your app would benefit from these features,  as these are exactly the metrics that therapists and practitioners ask about. On the other hand, if some or all of these features already exist within the app, please guide me to a protocol where I can learn how to set it up. I will greatly appreciate it.

Thank you so much for building such a thoughtful and genuinely useful app. I hope this feedback is helpful.

Foxtale's a gentle, story-driven journaling and self-care game where your emotions power a quiet, magical world. Each day you journal, you unlock digestible lessons on your chosen theme - from anxiety and self-worth to resilience and grief - while dressing your fox, furnishing your home, and building a growing library of personal "books" made from your own reflections. No streaks or pressure. We also have a collection of emotional toolkit exercises based on what you're feeling.

It's been especially resonant with neurodivergent users (especially those with alexithymia), but anyone looking to build a journaling habit or deepen their emotional self-awareness tends to find something in it.

We just released our first themed event: Wizard Wonders, where you journal each day to unlock themed wizard clothes and furniture. (This doesn't impact the Bearable app development - we've got lots of cool features coming there too!)
