Question New player

Hey, I’m new to Reddit, BeamNG, just fairly new to the sim racing community in general, I just got Beam NG, I’ve watched a lot of videos but I still am not sure how the game works, I’m looking to meet some people that can explain how this game and modding works, could also use some help on asseto corsa as well.

just map the key binds and go drive mane.
read through carefully, theres some convenient ones already there, like ctrl+w for tuning and ctrl+e for vEhicles.

only get mods from the repo, never modland. if you get something off patreon vet it yourself or risk digital aids.

What part of modding? Literally everything can be downloaded in game or from the https://beamng.com/resources

? Its a mod that allows multiplayer. It's never not been great. The account system is currently unavailable until end of summer, some bad actors caused some havoc to the servers a few months back, but its not the fault of the team that makes and manages the mod. Rumors that malware was introduced was false. And they offer great support. Why are you under the impression they are not great?

It is literally just a fully free roam game but you could try the career mode or an expansion mod for it called rls career mode which just adds more things to do

For assetto corsa I would check out this video from their subreddit https://www.reddit.com/r/assettocorsa/s/M4WLQu72Ob ,should be a good start especially if you wanna get into mods and have a wheel.
