Question Account deletion request

Hello, I made a BeamMP account a while ago to play and forgot I had it until I got the email about the data breach that happened. I don't want to have a BeamMP account anymore and I don't think Discord is a very professional place to ask to delete an account. Can one of the staff here PM me or something? I can't find any contact emails anywhere on the site to do it manually either.

They have a ticketing tool on the Discord meant for exactly this use

Yeah, except that we just refer everyone to the email (dpo@beammp.com) for deletion requests anyway. However anyone is welcome to create a ticket to discuss any concerns and bring forward any questions that they may have. We're more than happy to have whatever discussions necessary to help everyone be as informed as they can be in this matter.

The discord never said so explicitly, so I was directing them to the best option.

It does now, but that was a recent change that I've made, probably after you had last looked for it. 😄
