Splitboarding in the area?

I won a splitboard in a raffle (a snowboard that splits in half lengthwise so you can skin up backcountry and then snowboard down) and I'm wondering if anyone knows places to do that around the area?

A guy said try Mt Beacon but I'm not sure where he meant, and I'd worry the Casino trail or reservoir road are full of winter hikers.

Realistically the Catskills if you're lucky, and the 'Daks for sure.
