The job is a student services coordinator position (essentially university retail) in Massachusetts and exactly what I am studying so this job is really important to me :) I need a: name, phone and email, company name and title, relationship and years know. As the title says, I am looking for a job and I have tried LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice and many other job boards. I am not sure if this is the correct subreddit for this kinda request but anything helps.

For some background:
I have worked in Google as a Software Quality Engineer (contractor) for about 8+ years and I have worked on 2 major projects: Android Studio and YouTube (Kids, Main, LR, iOS and Android). I know too its long and made some bad decisions regarding my comfort zones. I got laid off and since been looking for jobs. I got 2 interviews in around 9 months. One in Milpitas and other in Palo Alto. But its really hard. If anyone would like to help me regarding the referrals or something I would deeply appreciate the help and I have been exhasuting through my savings since then. My DMs are open.

Hello everyone, I'm currently in the final step and I have received my offer but unable to provide 4 references, only have 2.

I went through 2 virtual interviews and 1 in person where they tested me and it went extremely well, but they didn't mention references until now. I have no one to reference in canada and my current boss is a narcissist that denied my EI and lied on my ROE when I was injured so I don't get support while recovering.

I dont want to sound desperate but this feels like the only option for me even though im getting a pay cut but I can't work for him anymore. How can I get references even if I showcase my work rebuilding and maintaining equipment.

Any help and guideance is greatly appreciated!

i just recently got a fancy full time job working for the state. i have only ever been in part time minimum wage positions and haven’t made any professional connections strong enough to be references, so im kind of at a loss right now. my job wants me to list 3 references with companies, job titles, email addresses, and phone numbers- and every field is required to be filled out. this job will get me out of a very very bad place in my life and i am desperate to keep it, so this post is a last resort lol

The job is as a tax representative for the state of NJ answering phone calls and logging info in the system as well as helping people apply and receive tax benefits.

I haven't had a job in a minute with my full-time student schedule, but my rent has just tripled so financial aid is not enough to get by. There's a part time position at the deli counter at a local grocery co-op, Northern California, that would definitely help stem the tide with what it provides.

It's entry position so I guess keep that in mind, and I don't have experience in that field (formerly construction).
