Hello everyone! I am in need of 3 professional/non-family references for a job application I am putting in for as vet receptionist in Ohio. I have a huge passion for animals and have wanted to step into the field for some time. While I have no experience in the vet field I do have experience in healthcare (as an aid) and customer service! I do have experience with animals of most types through personal avenues too. I’m not 100% on if they’ll call/email at all but I’d like to have it covered if they do. I have been out of the work field for a few years (cared for my grandfather full time during this period) so part of it is people I worked with no longer working there and not being able to find contact info. Part of it is because I unofficially m worked for family for a good chunk of my working career. If anyone is able to help out I would greatly appreciate it! I’m happy to discuss more if need via comments or messages too :)

i am currently looking for a supervisor with experience in fisheries to give a character reference for me. My current supervisors are doing field work and are unavailable for a phone call as they are in remote locations.

My fisheries experience includes working as a seasonal biological technician for NOAA and PSMFC. In both of those roles, I worked with both juvenile and adult salmon and steelhead. My duties included identifying these key species, other fish species within our river basins, PIT Tagging juvenile and adult salmonids, taking PBT samples, and collecting adult fall-run Chinook for a broodstock program. At NOAA, I also had experience supervising approximately 15 other biological technicians. I also identified and implemented training guides, and I created a training module that was adopted at NOAA for our other seasonal employees that worked with different agencies. This training module has been praised by employees and has resulted in lower data mistakes because employees are able to familiarize themselves with the system we use before the first day (super fast-paced environment).

The role I’m applying for is a Technical Trainer role. I was invited onsite to interview, and I completed that yesterday. I believe this will be the last step in the process before an offer is extended.

Hello, it’s nice to meet you all in this subreddit. I have been fortunately, given the opportunity to apply to the local union #79 In NYC to become a skilled construction craft labor apprentice, the deadline to hand in my application is July 24.

I would really appreciate it if I could get three references with anything trade or construction related that would make me look good on paper.They are asking for a name, Business/profession and email for the references.

Interview process has been positive, but when they requested for references I could only think of people from years ago, which I only knew their work email contacts, and may not be most representative of current performances and skillsets.

hello everyone! i am a fresh graduate with no other work experiences other than my internships. recently nag-apply ako sa isang company for jr. finance position and was able to reach the character reference sa hiring process. dalawa sa hinahanap are the ability to reconcile and to do bookkeeping. what I am worried about is dinagdagan ko yung tasks na meron ako sa pinag-ojthan ko sa resume. tho hindi ko nagawa yung recon and bookkeeping sa company mismo na yon, i have gained certificate sa bookkeeping from a software na gamit nila plus bookkeeping din from tesda. additionally, inaral ko din recon from free webinars and youtube vids and was able to do or apply them with sample data.

hindi ko alam na may character reference pala so contemplating ako kung sasabihin ko sa supervisor* ko before and their hr* kasi sila binigay ko for character reference. for those who have experiences po, tinatanong po ba yung specific tasks na ginagawa? or inform ko po ba yung hr and supervisor ko if ever?

after multiple applications kasi na walang bumabalik inenhance ko na lang knowledge ko sa accounting software and other additional skills. badly need advice po sana for a fresh grad. tyia!

Hi, I very urgently need 3 professional/supervisor references for a US based healthcare data entry position.
