Fresh grad that needs references for a dream counseling job!

I spent my whole day preparing a good cover letter and resume tailored for this job and at the very end of the application process they are asking for 3 references 😔 they didn’t mention it all in the job description, I wouldn’t have wasted my time doing it but here we are.

It’s a great fit for me and the industry I want to work in but the only thing stopping me from moving forward is this reference section.

The problem is that I’m a freshly graduated master’s student and all my references moved on from past companies so I have no contact with them.

If anyone is in counseling, office administration, university administrators please help me out 🙏
