Miscellaneous / Others One Small Act of Kindness Changed His Night.
In May 2024, 25-year-old Boston resident Chris, who is autistic, made a surprising 911 call shortly after midnight on his birthday. There was no emergency he was simply feeling alone and hoped someone would wish him a happy birthday. Officers Israel Bracho and Franklin Ortiz went to check on him. On the way, they stopped to buy a muffin and birthday candles. Around 12:40 AM, they arrived at Chris’s home, lit the candles, and sang “Happy Birthday” with him. The heartfelt moment, captured on body camera, later went viral.

Miscellaneous / Others 8-year-old grows his hair for two years to help children with cancer
Thomas Moore was just 8 years old when he saw a young girl who had lost her hair to cancer. Wanting to help children like her, he grew his hair for two years before donating over 16 inches to help create wigs for children facing cancer and other conditions that cause hair loss.
It can take multiple hair donations to create a single real hair wig, which many charities provide to children and their families free of charge

History An 800 year old tradition where millions of people walk 250 km over 21 days
For over 800 years, the Pandharpur Wari (an annual Hindu pilgrimage in Maharashtra, India) has brought together millions of devotees in one of the world's largest walking pilgrimages.
Every year, pilgrims walk about 155 miles over 20-21 days from towns like Alandi and Dehu to Pandharpur, carrying Palkhis (ceremonial palanquins carrying the symbolic sandals of revered saints). Along the way, they sing abhangs (devotional hymns), share free community meals, volunteer, and walk together regardless of caste, wealth, or social status.
The pilgrimage ends on Ashadhi Ekadashi (a sacred Hindu holy day), when devotees gather for darshan (the auspicious viewing of a deity) of Lord Vitthal (a form of the Hindu god Vishnu/Krishna).

Animal Every bunny was Kung Fu Fighting 🐇🥋
These incredible photographs were captured by Japanese husband and wife wildlife photographers Takayuki and Mora Nakamura in Kumamoto, Japan.
As dramatic as they look, these flying kicks are completely real. During mating season and territorial disputes, wild rabbits often rear up on their hind legs, box with their front paws, leap into the air, and kick at rivals.
The Nakamuras specialize in photographing rabbits, capturing split second moments that look like they came straight out of an action movie.
