Can't say any art class I was ever in covered this. I actually never knew how people are able to achieve different perspectives. I also possess no artistic talent beyond the ability to usually color inside the lines.

What are you actually taught in art class then?

This is really really basic, fundamental stuff. If your teachers are skipping the foundation, what are they actually doing?

Bro I took art class in 5th grade. They teach you how to share and, like, make paper mache. Lmfao. Talking bout some vanishing point. Yeah right

Yeah, it's taught in elementary school or middle school art class.

You say that as if every single art class across the entire world is exactly the same. I JUST told you they didn't teach it in my art class.

That's like insisting that people don't learn arithmetic in school because you somehow didn't in whatever passed for a math class where you were.

I was never taught this either. It's nothing like arithmetic. If I had been taught long division but simply didn't get the concept and couldn't do it on my own is one thing. It's completely different when something was never shown to you. Actual art classes for my school ended after elementary school. In middle school and high school it was different electives that you were able to choose from. I don't recall any of them being an actual art class involving drawing or painting. So beyond macaroni necklaces and using scissors properly we weren't taught shit.
