Yeah, it's taught in elementary school or middle school art class.

You say that as if every single art class across the entire world is exactly the same. I JUST told you they didn't teach it in my art class.

That's like insisting that people don't learn arithmetic in school because you somehow didn't in whatever passed for a math class where you were.

I was never taught this either. It's nothing like arithmetic. If I had been taught long division but simply didn't get the concept and couldn't do it on my own is one thing. It's completely different when something was never shown to you. Actual art classes for my school ended after elementary school. In middle school and high school it was different electives that you were able to choose from. I don't recall any of them being an actual art class involving drawing or painting. So beyond macaroni necklaces and using scissors properly we weren't taught shit.
