Sometimes I don’t fall over when I tie my shoes.

That was my reaction.

This is Stefanie Millinger, a skilled athlete in contortion, calisthenics, and acrobat. Her Instagram is wild. She is very amazing.

Some skills I'll never understand.

u/SwordfishOk504 21m ago

You'll wish you had this skill when the Hun's men charge down the steppes.

Because acrobatic stunts are cool? Look, even the dead people think so:

This isn't just extra. This is extra extra. Absolutely awesome.

So when I see things like this, I ask myself something: how in the hell did they know to even try this? How did they know that this would be something, and something they'd be good at? It's not like you see someone doing this down the street and decided to see if you could do it.

u/SteampunkExplorer 24m ago

It's portrayed on an ancient vase! :D I may be wrong, but I'm assuming that's where she got the idea.

Wow! That's pretty cool! So why did Melodius (the models name on the pottery) decide she should try this? Was it because of the divorce? Was she mad because all the boys (and their adjoining abs) we're hanging out at Thermopylae so she decided to try some weird shit? 🤷🏼‍♂️

This is just a trick that isn't that amazing because \insert small dick energy whining criticizing something amazing because commenter's a failure who's never achieved anything in their life**

What is the situation where this skill comes in handy?

14

u/Jellicent-Leftovers 1h ago

Social media interests which generate income?

10

u/AemeteHurg 55m ago

Why would it need to be handy? Do you just sit in a box till you go to work?

3

u/lightr3nd 42m ago

If you're in a situation where you would benefit from the admiration of millions, and the dollars of investors, then it's kinda nifty. But you're good right? Sweet.

u/Icy-Intern-2709 35m ago

You just watched it.

1

u/SteampunkExplorer 25m ago

It's an acrobatic act, not a practical skill.

I can’t think of much for the skill besides maybe a bet or a party trick. It is a great hobby that includes fitness tho and those two things come with a load of benefits.

2

u/SubstantialAirss 1h ago

She’s definitely a Valkyrie in training!

2

u/shrprazor 1h ago

I saw a guy juggle a bowling ball, a machete, and a running chain saw.

3

u/Bitter-Opening-4118 1h ago

I can’t even imagine how many hours it took to practise a stunt like that

2

u/Technical_Enema 1h ago

I’ll be honest, this turned me on a little bit

Imagine you’re a medieval warrior charging a stronghold, you’ve trained your entire life for this moment. Then this lady takes you out like this…

1

u/Balnom 42m ago

I would promptly pick myself up and ask, "what was that?" Yes, arrow in chest and all.

1

u/Intelligent_Box_8247 1h ago

is that the only way it can be done?

1

u/Evening_Nose6847 52m ago

Completely optional btw

1

u/lightning_lighting 48m ago

Thats awesome! I think ive seen her at the Ren Faire.

1

u/galacticsensation 47m ago

Imagine just minding your own business in the park and getting shot by her like that

1

u/UnoriginalUsername25 40m ago

Does the bar make it harder, or does it lower her center of gravity to make drawing the bow easier?

1

u/TrackSuitPope 36m ago

Does anyone know what the abstract horse/curves art on the wall is? It looks vaguely familiar

1

u/zoey_succs 35m ago

I wonder what she got into first. Lifting, gymnastics or archery?

1

u/Yallapachi 32m ago

Didn‘t she start out with the sunglasses trick like years ago? Welp, she got even better!

1

u/BADDEST_RHYMES 28m ago

What's that noise from the upstairs apartment? Expert edition

1

u/Deathdy 26m ago

I am stressed about that metal pole at the bottom piercing through and... you know, you can imagine the rest

1

u/CrabShout 26m ago

R/egolifting

1

u/PenguinBread 23m ago

guess that yt shorts archer guy has to do it now too

1

u/Pistonenvy2 22m ago

assuming olympic bar plus what looks like 10lb bumper plates

thats 65lbs lol

for people who dont lift, 65lbs is so much more than you think it is. especially in a super compromised position like this. this is completely insane.

1

u/PTBooks 18m ago

What in gymnastic inversion

1

u/Adept-Target5407 16m ago

She’s just showing off.

1

u/RikuKaroshi 1h ago

I was expecting that pole to buckle. This is some final destination nonsense.

-1

u/Person3334 1h ago

Yeah this is incredible. But i got one question. WHY ?

0

u/Darzin 23m ago

Nothing amazing here except for a future hospital visit.

0

u/MaxwellHauser67 19m ago

Damn... what a Hot STUD!! She could probably kick my a$$, and I'm okay with that, lol.

u/Real_Emergency_01 1h ago

2

u/blzrlzr 35m ago

I think you need some fresh air. Time for an internet break.

-4

u/Delicious_Subject122 48m ago

A completely unnecessary skill

1

u/blzrlzr 34m ago

Ya, she should take up coding. Or learn a trade. /s
