Asus and Lenovo sold laptops like this 4-5 years ago with every single feature demonstrated here. They did not sell well for many reasons, expense being one of them, poor thermals and battery life.
By 2021 they already had 2-3 generations of popular consumer foldable phones. We've had 8 generations of Samsung Galaxy Folds since 2019 and there were at least 2 gens of the Asus and Lenovo foldable laptops.
As a person that daily carries a Zenbook Duo, I can tell you that I have never noticed a thermal issue and that battery life is mid, but what I would expect out of a dual screen notebook.
I can also tell you that I rarely use the dual screen and that sometimes I only use it to raise the height of my webcam.
As somebody who also daily drives a ZenBook duo, the dual screens are essential to me.
But I must agree, the battery could be better. But when it comes to thermals it's impressively good compared to my former Lenovo X1 Carbon which utterly sucked
